So here it is my "official two-cents" about the Kim Burrell controversy. A. Everyone has their own truth, you should be able to freely live in YOUR OWN TRUTH without infringing upon SOMEONE ELSE'S TRUTH. When you cross the line and begin to vilify or speak poorly about someone else's truth, you then become the JACKASS in this situation. B. Pastor or not, when you make the choice to venture into the Christian audience, and WILLINGLY expose your self to the Secular audience, you now become amongst the FEW and not THE MANY. So speaking out in ANY way against the many automatically puts you under a microscope. Whether you like it or not, whether you want to be or not. That is the day and age we live in. C. If all the gay men and women are "perverse" and "will die in 2017" (quotes purposely used for content not context, but again her word..Not mine)....If they are then My Dearest Pastor Burrell why aren't you drawing them in with love? Your message is not only unbecoming of a woman, but a Christian woman, who are truly amongst some of the most loving women I know. D. When you have a message to deliver to your flock, make sure all outside recording devices are OFF, because what you are going to say may be taken out of context and MISREPRESENT you and your empire. I was not offended by anything she said, just disappointed that a lapse in judgement is now causing the foundation to crack in the SS Kim Burrell ship that is her "budding Crossover career" In short.....YOU ARE LITERALLY MESSING WITH THR CHURCH'S MONEY.....AND YOU SEEM QUITE UNBOTHERED!!!!!
