My Community Internship Experience with TRY NGO: Learning Beyond the Classroom
Introduction
As part of my Community Internship Program, I had the opportunity to work with TRY NGO, an organization dedicated to social development and improving the lives of underprivileged communities. This experience allowed me to step outside the classroom and understand real-world social challenges while contributing in meaningful ways.
The internship was not just about volunteering; it was about connecting with people, understanding their needs, and becoming a part of positive change. It helped me develop empathy, communication skills, leadership abilities, and a stronger sense of social responsibility.

Helping children improve their reading and writing abilities.
Teaching children the basic usage of technology and introducing them to laptops for educational purposes.

Promoting awareness regarding personal hygiene, handwashing, and healthy habits.
Assisting in health check-up camps organized for community members.
Interacting with children to build confidence and encourage active participation in learning activities.
Social Issues Observed During the Internship
During the internship, I observed several challenges faced by underprivileged communities, including limited access to quality education, lack of hygiene awareness, financial difficulties, inadequate healthcare facilities, and limited exposure to technology. These issues highlighted the need for continuous community support and development initiatives.
