Here’s art I made for my Slimeriana Café AU that took exactly 11 hours and 59 minutes

The perspective is kinda wack in some places but honestly i don’t care that muuuuch if I ever redraw it maybe I’ll fix it but too many hours were put into this /silly

Ranboo cameo in the back as well as Tina because yes

Ranboo is there cause many years ago I had a Ranboo café au and I like to think it’s the same café but years later xD They suffered a ton avoiding water and condensation on cups because enderman

Tina is there cause in my head she’s having her own café AU in the background but with Bagi

Leo is asking someone off canvas for cake, could be Foolish, could be Vegetta, I didn’t think about it (I can’t get it out of my head that the cakes look like cheese wheels cause i didn’t decorate them)

Random cat is there cause my friends wanted me to add a cat, zero lore importance or anything. Theyre just there to be cute

Anyway I have news

I may or may not be beginning to re-write my first ever fanfic because I keep looking back at it and cringing. (Specifically my Slimeriana Café AU, ‘Shutup You’re Stupid’ or how I like to call it ‘SYS’)

A wise person once said (idk who or when I heard this BUT) if you cringe at your past self, that usually means you’ve improved. (Somewhat)

I have some newfound motivation to write again and I would love to continue writing sys (especially since I ended on a cliffhanger) BUT, again BUT, I feel like I can re-write the whole thing and make it not some cringe sounding story.

Like… my friend read it in a kinda Deku/anime protagonist voice and it FIT I don’t think that’s a good thing in my opinion… No hate to Deku ig, but Charlie Slimecicle should not be sounding like that.

I remember how I wrote it just because i didn’t want them to be doomed anymore and just wanted fluff, but making huge changes to their personalities for “fluff” made it not feel like them.

If I do re-write it, they still won’t be 100% accurate to their actual canonical selves, but they def won’t be so… teenage romcom /silly

I will keep certain iconic scenes because i think they’re cute and/or funny, but i think I might clean up a lot of it. Everyone in the au is supposed to be non-human, but I rarely/never mention it… which makes me want to make that more obvious.

This WAS written about two years ago… so i think it makes sense I don’t like it much.

I might delete sys from ao3

(I have the entire fic on a seperate doc, so deleting from ao3 wouldn’t delete it forever)

If I do rewrite my fic, do I delete the og from ao3? Or keep it for old times sake?

KEEP IT ON THERE, TO BE CRINGE IS TO BE FREE (Leave it up on ao3)

You know the whole lore cause we literally wrote it together by “roleplaying” it out…

Or is this so the people of tumblr know our lore 🤔

Okay, so “world”

It’s set in a modern world where Slime and Mariana are married and have Flippa as well as Sunny and Pepito for fun. (Oh and Mariana uses both he and she cause whimsy)

Slime being a little silly decided to go visit an abandoned art studio even though Mariana didn’t really want to go. Their kids get left with Roier and Jaiden and they take care of them while they’re gone.

When they arrive to the studio, it looks really run down and when they open the door they can’t see inside despite shining a light into it. Mariana finds this really suspicious but once again Slime insists.

Once they go in, it’s like going through a portal, and all the colour becomes sepia-toned, and their clothes change to match the time period.

Basically, the studio is like a universe stuck in the past, and they’re now trapped in it.

They’re panicking a bit, try to find a way out and eventually get knocked out by Sammy Law Maintenance cause he’s suspicious of these random new people.

Sam is all rude to em then Henry walks on in and helps Slime and Mariana not be threatened or be tied up to chairs.

Eventually the ink demon himself is gonna appear so they dip and run out of there, all of em.

Slime and Mariana end up with Malice, and end up trapped with her for a while as Malice plans to quite literally cannibalise them.

Slime has Pokemon journey with quackity and Jaiden because yes

Mariana and Slime are rivals and constantly bicker ofc

Mariana travels with Roier and Aldo because mc trio

Jaiden and Roier friends because yes

Slime’s Pokemon team is mostly green pokemon because its funny, i would make it his actual pokemon from nuzlocke and stuff but its funnier if i give em mainly green ones

The goomy on his head is an experimented on goomy that some pokemon scientists made discoloured cause they wanted to make a shiny pokémon but failed
