Some of my favorite background/minor side characters in Pepper Ann are the goth characters from the muerte lunch table. I think they only make a few apperances and only one as a group but they make quite an impression, especially for often wearing grey and not having the usual cut and paste goth looks that we see in cartoons. Just shows the amazing talent of the character designers on the show. Looking back on the show, you'd swear they make more appearences but the show often leaves a lot to the imagination.
