trying to get your story together like:
Explaining your story to a willing ear:
“I really like your story! is there more?”
“I like this character, is there more about them?”
When they ask “What happens next?” and you haven’t figured it out yet.
When you have figured things out but you haven’t written/drawn anything yet, and trying to figure out how to:
wowie I have never beheld a more accurate thing

Oh, you don’t wanna know what’s on my mind.
“It’s the third time he spat blood today, he knew he should be worried. But for some reason he’s not.”
That was the first line he wrote for his new book, he was sitting by his typewriter on a cold day drinking his cup of tea that was supposed to help him clear his mind and think.
Second thing he did was deleting this line he just wrote, ‘That was horrible.’ he thought.
How could he write something so personal without exposing himself? Then he thought that everything written by anybody is nothing but personal, and the thing that made him special is ‘at least he’s being honest about it.’
“How many times you’ve hated yourself for thinking about things you shouldn’t have thought about? How many times you’ve been afraid that people may look down to you calling you names and judging you for what clearly isn’t your fault?”
After he wrote that down he thought, ‘Now we’re talking.’
A couple more sips from the tea...
‘What is this garbage?’ he thought, ‘That’s not real, that’s not personal, it’s not what I want.’
And then he doubted about what he wanted to write in the first place, he thought he wanted to write about himself.
“He sat by his typewriter on a cold day, doubting his one and only talent. Wondering if he could make his own way to greatness, he knew that there’s only one way to find out, but he was scared, too scared. And then he realized that he didn’t have ‘it’ as many people told him.”
That’s narcissistic, disgusting, and pathetic.
‘You’re pathetic!’
What kind of person writes about himself?
‘An honest one?’
That’s just pretentious, no one’s gonna read that.
‘Leave me alone, I know what I’m doing. Hopefully.’
“But what if he has ‘it’? What if he could create something so great that will be remembered across generations? What if his existence had meaning?”
And then he remembered being asked ‘What’s on your mind?’
And he realized that he wasn’t sitting by his typewriter, nor was he writing his first book.
It was just his stupid facebook page that popped up in front of him asking about what was on his mind.
And the only thing he could do was click ‘Post’, and he did.
By the time he saw ‘Just now’ he knew right away that he’s gonna regret it.
Survival
‘And they lived happily ever after. Right? Right…?’
One of the many lies we’ve been told as kids that happiness could actually last, we’ve came to grow up searching for that everlasting happines.
But we got sucked up too early by the cruelty of modern day capitalism, feeding us more lies; Work hard at school, it gets better at college. Work hard at college, it gets better at field. Work hard, it’s the only way to survive…
So it’s nothing but survival, fighting. Each and every day we fight a losing battle of survival hoping that we’ll finally reach happiness.
Only that coming of age taught us that happiness is only temporary, and existence is nothing but agony.
You saw my tears. How could you?!
'How did it all start?' was among the endless questions raised by his continuous thinking.
'Would it end?'
'When would it end?'
'How would it end?'
'What is this road?'
'Why is he running?'
'Why does the road get darker every time he looks back?'
Things started falling from the grasp of his hands, he manages to catch a few, but misses a lot. Caught a memory, but missed a lot of chances.
And he wonders; why can't he catch them all?
All the chances he missed.
All the messages he didn't reply.
All the phone calls he didn't return.
All the conversations he didn't complete.
All the risks he didn't take. All the sleepless nights.
All the unfinished work. All the broken hearts.
All the lost kisses. All the meaningless affairs.
All the 'one nights stands'.
All the 'if's.
All the lies.
'Why is he getting slower?'
Everything is getting darker and his running eventually became crawling; reminding him of how it started.Memories started fading away as he fell on his face and lost his sight.
'Why it had to end like that?'
With only one word left unsaid, and no one there left to hear. He said it with his mouth stuck to the ground, 'regret.'
