Its seems Bernie Ecclstone wants Monza to pay more to stay on the calendar. I think he's just trying to pressure it out of existence get rid of it on the cheap. Monza is iconic and the last true low downforce track. I'd rather see Bernie go. All he thinks about is lining his pockets with as much as he can until he actually runs the sport into the wall. As for his renewed call for 1000 hp V-8 engines to come back. They are like him now dinosaurs and extinct a thing of the past and now should be looked at and admired. Shame the same can't be said about him , and no I wasn't bribed to say that either ;) M Murphy

It always amazed me why this team didn't get more success in its life in the sport. Toyota had the biggest budget of all and have success in many other motor sports. Maybe they expected too much to quick or maybe it was the way the team was run. Its hard to believe with a budget of over 300 million the team didn't actually win a race. M Murphy

Regulation changes in 2012 meant that there was no longer a place in Motogp for two stroke machines. The 2 stroke 125 cc bikes were dropped in favour of a 250 cc single cylinder four stroke engine. The new category moto 3 as its called has top speeds of uptoo 143 mph. The bikes they replaced the Nsr 125 had a top speed of 155 mph. M Murphy
