Karube as your boyfriend in high school headcanons

Hello guys! Iām so sorry for not being active for so long! I hope all of you are doing great!! I got really busy because of school but all is good now, I have completed all my assignments for the semester! Yay! That means I will have more time to write now! Thank you for the long wait! Anyways I hope you guys enjoy this headcanon that has been in my draft for awhile now! Karube would probably be those kind of student that is almost always late for class but doesnāt give a damn about it
He is popular in school for getting into fights so no one in school ever dares to go against him
However, unbeknownst to everyone, under his tough facade was a gentle and kind heart
He does not pick on people weaker than him. And this is most likely the reason why he became friends with Arisu and Chota as well, he had saved them from being bullied, and from then, the three would always hang out together
As for you? You were simply a shy and model student in their class that was always minding their own business
The only reason why the both of you even interacted was simply because you were Arisuās neighbour
Since Karube is close to Arisu, you would often bump into them when the group of 3 went to his house
At the start, you would just nod at each other as a form of acknowledgment
It was until one day when he saved you from a group of drunk guys, which then caused you both to start getting closer
You could still remember that day where you were walking home from school later than usual when a group of drunk guys approached you
You could smell the alcohol that reeks from them and when one of the guy asked you to join them to have some fun, you politely declined and tried to quickly escape the situation
However, he grabbed hold of you arm before you could escape
You were shaking with fear as they started dragging you into a dark alleyway
That was until a hand reached out to pry the guy's hands off you and punched him in the face
It was Karube that saved you.
He had gently pulled you behind him as he fought off the other guys
Karube was strong and managed to fight off the guys but he still sustained some minor injuries
He wiped the blood at the corner of his mouth with his thumb as he watched the guys running away
His glare softened when he turned back to you and saw you trembling on the floor, still traumatized by what happened
He then slowly approached you not wanting to frighten you even more
What he was not expecting was for you to bury your face into his chest when he helped you up. His body tensed as he felt you tighten your hold on his shirt.
When he heard your sobbing voice thanking him for saving you, he would then gently start patting your head
After that encounter, both of you definitely started developing feelings for one another
Karube would notice his feelings for you quite quickly as he couldn't resist looking at you during class and his heart seem to flutter whenever you smiled at him
He would also start trying to be around you more often. He would even ask Arisu and Chota to wait for you as well when they are going to school or walking home
He would probably tell them what happened that night and claim to his friends that he was just being a good classmate and looking out for you
However, his friends could already tell that he likes you because whenever he looks at you, they would totally see the heart eyes from him
They would probably tease him and try to set the both of you up
It would probably take awhile for Karube to actually confess to you because you were such a good person. Regardless of how he seems in front of others, this boy does get insecure as he felt like he didn't deserve you because he is known as one of those students that is popular for getting into trouble
It was until you actually built up the courage to confess to him, then he started to feel more confident
As your boyfriend, Karube would definitely be very protective and would want to be close to you as often as he can
But don't worry, he does understand that you need your personal space so he wouldn't force you to stay by his side all day
The news of both of you dating would spread around the school rather quickly as Karube doesn't really try to hide your relationship
He does not care what other people say so he would hold your hands even in school and doesn't even try to hide his affections for you
And now everybody knows who your boyfriend is, nobody would dare to make fun of you or go against you
You would probably be the one helping him and his friends study but much to your annoyance, your boyfriend seem to get distracted whenever you try to explain something to him
Instead of looking at the questions he got wrong, he would be looking at your face when you were trying your best to correct his mistakes
But could you blame him? You just look so cute and those lips of yours looked so kissable so he can't resist himself
And by the time you realise he was not paying attention and tried to scold him, he would already be leaning in to press his lips against yours
He is too irresistible so you ended up kissing him back everytime
All in all, he is a wonderful boyfriend that would do anything to make you happy
Please love him with all your heart!! (ļ½”ā„āæā„ļ½”)
I'm so glad you have a holiday coming up soon - hopefully you can take some time to relax and do something fun!!! :) Keita Machida is just ššš !!! He's such a good actor, his ability to play so many different characters is incredible and he seems like SUCH a sweetheart irl š„ŗ I loved Cherry Magic and Three Star Bar - his character in Super Rich is prob one of my faves as well! The last few episodes really focus on his character and it was super interesting - I highly recommend! :D ~āØanon

HAHAHA YAY! Finally found someone that obsess with Keita Machida as well! And YES! I watched some of his shows, like cherry magic and Three Star Bar in Nishi Ogikubo! Iām intending to watch more of his shows during my holiday as well! I havenāt got the chance to watch super rich yet tho! Hmm, I might try watching that next! I have been itching to watch but I know he is the second male lead in the show so I was scared that I will feel so sad for him HAHAHA! (My heart is not ready for that second lead syndromeš)

āWhere do you want to place this box?ā asked the girl with red hair as she looked at you.
The red-haired girl, Yoon Jisu, was helping you to move in to your new house in the green house apartment. You both have known each other for awhile now and Jisu was the one that introduced you to the place.
āRight here! Thank you!ā You told the girl as she moved towards you.
āThis is the last of it right?ā Jisu asked as she used her hand to wipe the sweat on her forehead.
Smiling at her, you nodded before looking around your new home. This is the first time you have a place all to yourself and you felt excited to start living in this new place, leaving those sad memories of the past behind.
You handed Jisu a bottle of water and thanked her for taking time to help you out. She patted your head softly before replying, āOf course! Dun worry about it!ā
She has always been the older sister figure for you and you felt thankful to still have her in your life despite what happened to the both of you in the past.
After awhile of chatting with Jisu, she went back to her own apartment as you start unpacking some of the things from the boxes. You lived in 1409 while she lives one floor above yours.
After a while of unpacking, you wanted to go and explore the apartment so you stepped out of the apartment.
As you walked out of the apartment, you noticed the security guard standing in front of the door opposite of yours, room 1410.
āMr Kim?ā You called out to him and as he turned to you, you felt a chill ran down your spine as you saw the way he is smiling and how his nose was stuffed with tissue due to his nosebleed.
āOh! Good afternoon, Ms (l/n)!ā He said as he continued smiling creepily at you. On reflex, you took a step back when he tried to approach you.
And as you tried to move back further, you felt your back touched someoneās chest.
You whipped your head around and looked at the boy that was standing behind you. If you were to be honest, heās quite good looking and for some reason, he looked quite familiar. It was like the world has stopped around you as you continued staring at the boy. He was the first to break eye contact as he averted his eyes shyly away from you. He is not used to being stared at by a cute girl.
āWhat are you doing?ā It was the sound of his voice that break you out of your daze. He looked at you then over to the creepy security guard.
āI asked you to come by the office earlier on but I guess you forgot. You need to fill out a registration document!ā Mr Kim told him as he moved closer to the both of you. You quickly excused yourself back to your room before the boy could reply as you felt uneasy about the security guard.
After closing the door, you lean against the door, thinking about the boy that so happens to be your new neighbour.
You heard a loud sound from outside your door which caused you to look out through the peephole which you saw the security guard trying to force open the door of your new neighbour.
Luckily the boy managed to get the security guard to let go of his door after awhile. However, the security guard continued standing outside his door and only left after awhile. You heaved a sigh of relief after ensuring that he really left.
You stayed in your apartment and for some reason you mind keep drifting back to the boy living opposite you.
He looked around your age so maybe he could be your first friend in the apartment besides Jisu. You prepared some dinner and decided to try to get to know him better. You knocked on his door and when he opened the door, he was quite surprised to see you. He looked curiously at you as he was not expecting to see you at his door. āHello! I didnāt get to introduce myself properly previously, I am (y/n) (l/n) and I just moved into room 1409 today, so we are going to be neighbours from today onwards! Nice to meet you!ā
A small blush crept onto Hyun-Suās cheeks as he looked at you who was standing cutely in front of his door. In school, nobody would ever bother approaching him or even initiate a conversation with him so he was not expecting a cute girl like you to introduce yourself to him. āWhatās your name?ā You spoke up again, realising that he was deep in thoughts.
āChaā¦Cha Hyun-Suā¦ā His reply was soft and he quickly averted his eyes to the ground.
Smiling softly at him, you asked if he had already eaten his dinner and when he shook his head, you brought out the food that you have prepared in containers. āCan we eat together?ā
Hyun-Su looked up at you, surprised by your request but when he sees your warm smile, he couldnāt stop himself from saying yes, so he nodded his head as he moved out of the way to let you into his apartment.
As you both eat the meal, you asked him several questions to get to know him better. You noticed that he is a very quiet person but he seems like a nice boy. He is very shy as well as he blushes every time you smiled at him.
For the next few days, you managed to get closer to him and you realised that he eats a lot of instant noodles, so you tried your best to always make extra food for him. You were slowly getting use to this new environment, and you felt contented with it.
However, unbeknownst to you, this is only the calm before the storm. A long horrifying and tough journey awaits youā¦

I just saw your update on your test and I'm so sorry it didn't go your way! :( I'm someone who craves academic validation and puts a lot of my self-worth into my grades (which is SO BAD do not do that!!!) so I totally understand your frustration! Please don't let it upset you too much - trust me, this test does NOT MATTER in the grand scheme of life and you will barely remember it this time next year. Take care of yourself and try to focus on doing things that bring you joy <3 āØanon

Iām sorry about your test, I know how frustrating it can be to not do as well as you had hoped. But please remember that grades arenāt everything! I used to stress myself out over getting good grades on my exams, but really, it was all for nothing. Of course itās important to study and do your best, but we all make mistakes. Take this little bump in the road as a lesson and continue to push forward! You got this <3. Congrats on passing your other test though!
