PURSUIT OF JADE 逐玉 (2026) dir. Zeng Qingjie "In this life, the next life and every life after, we are tied together."
That doting, concerned father bit is all an act. The result of him running the numbers and sizing up what he could gain by using you. Who cares? As long as I'm genuine. I have a great deal that you do not, and if you ask for it, I fully intend to provide it. By chance, do you have feelings for me? All of a sudden? Then was I your first... or something?
PERFECT CROWN (2026)
We don't need to maintain decorum now? Yeah. No more decorum.

Where do I even start...
I need to first say I had the highest expectations for this show because it was a modern monarchy (TKEM is my no.1 show) and I expect alot from both BWS and IU.
I watched the show as it aired (literally was counting down hours and watched immediately when episodes dropped) and while it was torture waiting for new episodes, I really enjoyed watching everyone's discussions on the show/edits/behind the scenes. It was a fun 6 weeks.
Spoilers ahead:
So the actual show: Loved our lead couple, both as individual characters and their relationship. I was fully invested in anything and everything going on with them, in the past and present. My favourite trope is contract relationship so of course I was in my zone, I just ate up all the cute and romantic scenes *swoons* I adored any scene with the little king (especially the ones with his uncle) The second lead couple were also super cute and funny. I loved when they swapped PAs.
The acting in this show was incredible, I was expecting it from BWS and IU, but was very impressed with Gong Seung-yeon (it's my first time watching her) and Steve Noh (never seen him play a negative character before) The little king was also really good.
Can I just take a moment for whoever styled BWS, every outfit was incredible. I usually don't even notice clothes but he looked so good in everything he wore and there were several scenes when they got a close up of the fabric and it actually caught my attention 😍 stunning!
I loved this show so much but I'm going to be picky and mention what I wasn't 100% satisfied with. WHY didn't we see what happened to PM Min? Was he thrown into jail? I would like a scene of him scruffy and miserable in a prison uniform or was he simply beheaded? Also would have liked to see baby king after the time skip. I needed the flashbacks to be longer, especially the scenes with Wan and his brother. I feel there was more to it.
All these things could have been solved if we had at least 2 more episodes. I wouldn't say no to 4 though.
I am still going to recommend this because while it had tiny flaws it still left me with a huge idiotic grin on my face when I completed it. I would definitely rewatch it.

I knew I had to watch this show the moment I read the synopsis. I love this genre of helping ghosts with their unfinished business.
At first I didn't like that it took 2 episodes per ghost but then those lines were blurred. Most of the ghost's stories were interesting but my favourite was the halmeoni's husband.
Yoo Yeon-seok was SO good in this show, especially the possession bits. I loved I-rang's relationship with his family particularly with the brother-in-law and niece. It was nice that they gave us lots of funny moments to balance out the sad ones.
My only complaint is the romantic relationship, it was just squeezed into the last 5 minutes 🫤
If you like the ghost genre you HAVE to watch this.
Say it louder for the Second Male/Female Leads in the back!
For all its flaws, the direction, cinematography, and production are definitely not among them. LOOK AT THIS FRAME.

My babies 🥹 Will forever live rent-free in my head
Why was the styling for huiju, the clothes so varying. All the outfits were either a 9/10 or a 1/10.
Because all the effort went into Wan. All his outfits were 1000/10
PURSUIT OF JADE ‧ 2026 dir. Zeng Qing Jie | Episode 9
You guys, I'm scared. Perfect Crown has been SO good these 11 episodes and I'm worried that the final episode won't keep up to that standard. (Like so many other shows)
you and me both pal
Every single time his face was on screen in episode 11
finally baby king can ditch that king's decorum and can be the baby he is
Prime Minister Min smh
ALL OVER THE WOMAN HE LOVES!
In his villain arc all because the woman he has loved for years, who he didn't confess to btw, married another man.
Nurse, he's out. Lock him up.
