Head to your Assignments Page
Find your MXTX Exchange Assignment
Click “Fulfill” and post your work from that page!
Posting a Treat to the Exchange Collection
Head to the 2020 MXTX Exchange Collection and select “Post to Collection”
Enter the name of your recipient in the “Gift this work to“ field. (Since this is a treat, make sure you are not fulfilling any open assignments.)
Please don’t post signed artwork to the exchange (it is anonymous), but please watermark it with “Your MXTX Exchange Gifter” or similar to prevent art theft. Feel free to make the watermark obnoxious. When author/artist reveals happen on July 12, you can replace this image with a signed version.
2. Resizing your image Ideally you will resize your image to fit onto a screen. There is no common screen width, but keep in mind that people will be looking at AO3 on their computers, tablets, or phones, so you don’t want your image to be too large (over 800 pixels wide). If you can’t resize the source image, or would like to further adjust the dimensions after hosting it, you can resize when writing the HTML.
Your image needs to be hosted somewhere, which will provide you with a URL to use. The mods recommend creating an account on Imgur (not anonymously hosting) to host if you don’t already have a host. We do NOT recommend image hosting on Tumblr.
AO3 allows some limited HTML when posting, which you can use to post images. **Make sure the post editor is in HTML, not Rich Text mode - toggle on upper right side. **If you don’t need to resize your image, write an image tag with your image url:

If you do need to resize the image, you can add dimensions within the image tag. Specifying a height or width won’t automatically resize the other, so check your original dimensions and resize both accordingly.

5. Post Double check dimensions when you post to make sure you’re happy with them, and then you’re done!
