YouTube should not be allowed to force flag your animations/videos as “for kids”.

I can understand flagging videos as “adult and explicit” as it keeps it at least keeps those vids out of the reach of kids, but why tf is YouTube ABLE to flag a video as “for kids” when the author flagged their content as “not for kids”??? What is the point? Why are you forcing a video onto YouTube kids??? This crosses the creator’s boundaries and can put kids at a larger risk.

You have animations with adult scenarios (not just p*rn) that are being forced to be “for kids”, putting kids at risk of seeing something that was never meant for them and making the animator the scapegoat.

This is the worst YouTube moderation mechanic ever and serves no purpose, only creating more problems. I have never seen any other platform do this, and it’s for a good reason.

Hey fellas, I just wanna say thanks for supporting me and my transformers art! I got some good news and bad news…

Bad news: I’m gonna slow on my transformers art for now. I love transformers still, but drawing all these detailed robots and taking a long time on them has definitely hit my self confidence in my production speed. I know that detailed robots take longer, and i shouldn’t give up, but I wanna take a moment from my favorite robots so I can focus on other stuff. (I’m still gonna finish my Goliathan stuff though, I won’t just leave yall high and dry)

Good news: I got extra hours, which means more pay, and I’m still drawing!!! Yippee!!!!

Okay, imagine a rewrite of Transformers Prime where the human kids are fleshed out and actually made sense to the plot… then one by one, they die.

First is Miko, by rushing into battle and getting herself killed. The first domino.

Second would be Raf, dying from the lasting effects of Dark energon, slowly consuming him until there is just one remaining.

Then Jack. He leaves the base, wishing to no longer be involved thanks to the loss of the other two. In a last minute decision, he decides to show up for the Autobots, making a noble sacrifice. Dies because of it.

The effects of war and the loss of each other would show through their actions and view on the world until we are left with the bitter taste of failure for the Autobots, choosing to use their deaths as fuel to end the Decepticon’s tyranny right then and there…
