Coming back from their daily walk, Alora dropped onto the sidewalk with a dramatic sigh.

"Oh, don't look at me like that," she muttered.

Her dog tilted his head.

"I know exactly what that look means."

His ears perked up as he stared at her expectantly.

"I hate this for me, you know that?" she continued. "I just moved to Nordhaven. Meeting someone wasn't part of the plan, and finding someone I actually like this quickly definitely wasn't in the cards."

T'pop barked.

"Seriously. I was supposed to be focusing on settling in, making friends, and figuring out my life here. Instead, I'm sitting here thinking about Callum."

Alora started to use Callum as her guinea pig when it came to experimenting with fashion

They'd take late-night walks through Nordhaven often, but this one in particular stretched far longer than either of them intended. The city had grown quiet around them when they stopped to rest on a nearby bench, eventually drifting off to sleep side by side. Later, laughing at themselves for dozing off outdoors, they returned to Alora's place, where they settled onto her bed and continued talking deep into the night, reluctant to let the evening end.

Alora had always kept her heart carefully guarded, but his persistence made that increasingly difficult. No one had ever seemed so interested in getting to know her, and every conversation felt effortless. Before long, she found herself thinking about him far more often than she intended, her thoughts drifting into dreams of what might be.

Remember this photo? Yeah well…she met him at a summer festival & they hit it off instantly.

Callum started showing up at Alora's door almost every day. When she'd be at work, he'd wait until she'd get home to hang out. He was a persistent man.

Story Continued...

The breaking point came when her dad tried to leverage his fame to “set her up” with a career he approved of. Another contract. Another plan that didn’t include her voice.

That night, she packed a bag, took what little money she’d saved on her own, and left.

Nordhaven wasn’t random. It was far enough away to be anonymous, creative enough to feel alive, and small enough that she could fail without headlines. For the first time in her life, no one knew her last name, and she liked it that way.

Now she’s starting from a small home, her dog T'pop, a sketchpad, and a stubborn need to prove to herself more than anyone that she can do this. She’s guarded, independent, and secretly terrified of becoming like her father… or worse, proving him right.

But every outfit she designs, every stitch she perfects, is her way of rewriting the story.
