#CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS MOMENT#because i think it’s the first time alicia has reached out to kalinda for an emotional connection in YEARS#she’s pulled away so much it’s hard to remember how much the friendship meant to her in the first couple of years of the show#i’ve been rewatching snippets of old episodes and that time is so distant#it’s so real and sad and tragic that the reason alicia can finally call kalinda again - just as a friend - is to talk about will#the guy kalinda always knew alicia loved. the guy kalinda always knew loved alicia.#i think kalinda was pretty messed up by this point but talking to alicia#and knowing how devastated alicia is - devastated enough to call - made her go after jeffrey grant all the more#the only good thing that can come out of will’s death is this friendship being found again#beneath all the layers of anger and betrayal and distance
