I’m up for something if anyone wants.... I just... I can’t do paras right now. It’s not my muse, it’s just...the depression.
—we are nothing but the demons of our own minds …

Bill smiled, having her near him so close made his heart race a little bit. It was crazy to say what this girl was doing to him in just a short amount of time. He let himself fall back down on the deck, his hand wandering up to the place his heart was beating. “I think you got me right here now.” maybe that was his way to tell her how much he actually liked her. And cared for her. He returned after his sailing race. And he would do it again.
With her bag of clothes, the young blonde hopped on the boat and jumped into his arms, as she was laughing. She was so happy he was back from his race. Donna’s smile was bright, her eyes glowing with cheeriness as she locked gazes with him — his beautiful eyes sparkling back at her. “I’m really excited to be going home and visiting your parents with you.” She’s never been to Sweden before, but she was sure that she would love it just as much as she loved him.

@mymywaterloo liked for a starter with Harry Bright
Harry had taken the first train that would leave for Paris, only having a few things packed. But thatw as enough. It really was enough. It was spontaneous. And Harry never was being spontaneous. But there was something Donna was doing to him. She helped him in a way no one would understand. He didn’t even understand it himself. But he wasn’t also complaining.
Standing now in front of the restaurant the two had lunch at, Harry was waiting patiently for Donna to arrive. Was she going to arrive? Did she even mean it when she said she would come and meet him again? For a short moment a few doubts came to his mind but he quickly blow them away as soon as he saw the familiar blonde curly head. A bright grin appeared on his lips.
“I feared you wouldn’t come.” he said, a light chuckle leaving his lips.
After the much needed confusion between Bill and Sam and her life spinning rapidly into a whirlwind, Donna needed to get away. She was grateful that Harry agreed to meet with her at their usual place in Paris. And not only was she a cheater at this point, she was a liar too. She had told Bill that she went off to spend a night or two with Tanya, and she told Sam the same.
She couldn’t tell them the truth, no matter how much she wanted to — no matter how much she thought and knew she should, it just wasn’t the right time yet. Was there ever going to be a right time for all of them?
Walking with determination, Donna smiled happily at Harry before she ran into his arms, dropping her small luggage at her feet. “I’m so glad you’re here,” she whispered into his shoulder. And then she couldn’t help but laugh. “Keep it up and I’m going to start calling you spontaneous Headbanger.” And with that she kissed his cheek and slipped out of his arms.

As they walked back towards Bill’s boat, Donna couldn’t help but laugh. “It’s the only thing that’s kept me sane after you left,” Because that much was true. And although Rosie and Tanya came for a bit, Donna knew they too couldn’t stay forever - not like her. This part of the world was her place, and maybe deep down the reason she was here was to be forgotten by those whom she’d left behind. Not saying that she didn’t love them, she did, but this was her life now, this was what she wanted. And this far, fate has given her what she’s wanted.
As Bill’s boat came into view, the smile fell from Donna’s face at Sam’s accusations. “Excuse me?” She snapped and decided to face him now. They were close enough to the boat now that Bill could hear every word they said. “How dare you, Sam. Why would you even say that? You think that just because you came back I’m supposed to be ready for you with open arms?” Donna folded her arms tightly over her chest and looked away from him. “You left me remember? I didn’t know I was supposed to sit around and wait for you.”
It had always been impossible to not join her laugh and so it was this time. Even if it was only a short one, he joined it and smiling at her, he would assure her that it was nothing bad at all. “I like that about you. Not being like all the others.” he smiled. And she was definitely not like all the others. She was unique, extremely beautiful and very independent. She didn’t need a man at her side but Sam was sure that he did need a woman like her at his.
When Donna suddenly started going on him, he first was a bit confused. He didn’t mean his words coming out like that. He just wanted to figure out what Donna was feeling for this man over there. If it sounded bad, that wasn’t his intention. “Donna, I-” but he got cut off by her again and so he just listened. Once again being in this situation. But her words went deep. Because he somehow thought she would be waiting for him. What they shared was special, he would call it even love. True love. But with her words, she actually just told him that she had moved on.
“I-I was a fool to believe you would wait.” after all it had been like what, a couple days? “I thought we would find a way to talk and maybe figure things out. But I guess, I was wrong.” he said, his gaze falling to the ground.
What hurt was how much she did love Sam. But it was just Sam that she loved - it was also Bill and Harry. All of them had a piece of her heart that she never wanted to get back.
There wasn’t much she could say to him, not now. And even though he made her feel bad, she felt a sting of guilt at the moment she realized she too, had hurt him with her words. And then Donna remembered how he lied to her. How he was engaged after spending a very intimate and romantic night together. How was that fair to her? So truthfully now, Donna didn’t feel bad at all for what she had said. Lying was just something that she hated and she couldn’t deal with - could anyone? Clearly Sam was the master of lying - and maybe that was a little extreme.
With her hand, she reached out and gently lifted Sam’s chin so he could look at her. She opened her mouth, but snapped it shut and closed her eyes.
“Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find
I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind
Whatever happened to our love?
I wish I understood
It used to be so nice, it used to be so good...”
❛ Nights can be empty, nights can be cold ❜ - (bill)
“You mean, they used to be.” The blonde giggled a little as she pushed her hair behind her ear.
❛ Take it easy with me, please ❜ - (bill)
She giggled a little as she twirled around him before she grabbed his hands and pulled him in close to her. “I’d never hurt you, Bill. I’d never want to hurt you because I know you wouldn’t hurt me. I promise, I’ll go easy with your fragile heart.”
❛ Leaving now, is that the right thing? ❜ - (sam)
“I swear, Sam, you have this thing with leaving me – like it’s all you do! All you do is leave me, and I’m really not starting to believe a word out of your mouth. Honestly, it’s not fair and god, you’re being so selfish!” That was when Donna felt the sting of tears in her eyes. "It's like you don't even care about me."
