Prom was actually okay. There were guys who asked but I just said no. It was either I didn’t really like them enough as a friend to go with them or they asked me too late because my friends and I already made plans.

Since sophomore year, I’ve only entered 3D artworks for our school’s art show and never won first place. Since then, it became my goal to win first place in the 3D Mixed Media category. On my third and last art show for my school, Artrageous 2015, I entered a total of eight artworks and won six awards for them. It was my first time publishing any of my 2D artworks so I was a bit concerned. In the end, my 2Ds ended up winning first places and I never get to win the 3D category. It was alright, I tried my best and I’m proud of what I did.

I actually didn’t have any plans on Valentine's Day except to go my photo shoot. However, while getting ready to go to the venue, someone called me. I never expected anything but my friend whom I trust and barely get to see asked me if I could hang out with him. So I said yes and had to ditch the shoot because I would rather spend time with him and catch up since I missed that giraffe.

Amy is legit my favorite friend/best friend! We’ve already been friends for about two years now and we’ve had our ups and downs. She’s been through with me through my darkest times and my triumphs. All I want to say is: Amy, thank you for being the best and realest friend I could ever ask for. Thank you for always being there for me supporting me along the way. I wouldn’t know what to do if I have not met you in the beginning of junior year.

Students Should Not Have Homework Over the Weekend and/or Break

Why? (my opinion) We go to school for about 7-8 hours for 5 days a week for 10 months every year since when we were 3-5 years old. The fact that we spend most of our time in school and basically learning the things we don't care about makes it difficult for me understand why do schools have to take away the time we have on weekends and/or breaks to do homework instead of doing the things we actually like to do. In addition, children these days are so disconnected with everyone because the times they were supposed to be free from school is actually spent on doing things for school instead of enjoying their lives with their friends and/or families.
