No, Ascended Astarion fans are not nazis

I didnt know what happen lately. But I just find out that there's an artist who was exposed for their bigoted views. And because they draw a lot of ascended art now there's people who thinks that if you like ascended astarion then you are a nazi just because of this artist.

Listen, whatever that artist do and said, that is their own view and fault. You can't lump an entire group for what they did. And you should not make a false accusation against people, especially right now with fascism rising everywhere and marginalized people are being hurt by white supremacist. I have someone hounding me in my DM accusing me of being a nazi for reblogging fan art from that artist. I didnt know about what happen because I'm not that active on tumblr, I was not aware about situation with the artist

And as a queer brown person. IT IS HURT to be accused as a literal monster over an evil vampire (literally white supremacist wanted me dead) No liking a villain doesnt make you a nazi, no liking negan doesnt make you a nazi, no having homelander as your blorbo doesnt make you one (unless you believe his bigotry is okay.)

I tagged negan and homelander because the person in my dm literally said if you like some villain then you are a nazi. This is a dangerous regressive purity mindset that has been plaguing fandom for a while, the notion that if you like a 'problematic' media then you are factually evil/bigoted regardless of your actual stance.
