Inspired by my 7 day trip to Goa, this song is heavily influenced by the concept of light and darkness and their coexistence - the yin and yang.

The structure of this song depicts a body venturing into the darker side or exiting all comfort zones. The turbulence caused by the unfamiliarity is something to brave out and confront as it is self-confidence and absolute pride in who you are that allows you thrive in whatever world you're put in.

As the song transcends into the ambient section, I try depict a sense of comfort. The "peace" in this section comes from the fact that our hero is now at peace with the darkness/ unfamiliarity; taking life as it comes, scared of no one and nothing. Every person needs to realize that one is truly himself/ herself when he or she has nothing to rely on but themselves (non materialistic). Your limbs, your senses, your body, soul and mind. These are all you need, these will keep you safe and strong.

Speaking of strong, here comes the section 3.40 (at 3 min 40 secs) as I like to call it. Recapping, you've conquered a dangerous place and mastered yourself. As a personal trait, I like to celebrate when I have the chance because, nothing lasts forever and life's beauty exists in death. Death drives you to live to your fullest. Forget modesty, forget about all the people that might call you egotistic or self-centered. You are amazing, you are beautiful, you are completely aware of what you can and can't do. Accept yourself.

After the 3.40 section, I switched the count back to sixths (only section 3.40 is in fourths) and sort of rewind as to what happened through the entire song. Every journey has its own meaning and the meanings you find by yourself slowly ingrain themselves inside you to make you, a better you. Similarly every person you meet and come to love will find their place in who you are. Realize here that the world need not be so linear where every single man must follow what society expects of them and what society labels as right and wrong. Every kind of law or code or quote (fuck quotes) that exists out there is like the starting point, including religion. It is up to you and who you are to push further and to learn and see for yourself. Think of your lifespan as a sort of tourist trip. You read about how nice a place is but you won't actually realize how beautiful it can be unless you're there yourself.

I can't fully explain why I called it "Finding Me in You and I" but I hope you can decipher/ interpret through the limited description I have given above :)
