Listen to the sound of wikipedia

This is a way to listen to changes to wikipedia. You are literally listening to knowledge being added to the world.

Pluck sounds are an addition, strings are subtractions, and the pitch says how how big the edit is. My heart shudders at this I love it so much.

If you write something; a book, a poem, a screenplay, and you get to the end, you actually finish it and write ‘The End’ at the bottom. Then irrespective of quality or whether it’s ever published or even read by anyone else; you are in the top 1% of writers in the history of the world, ever. The earth is full of unfinished novels, half-written prose and 'i’ll do that one day’ ideas. Don’t let yours be one. Everyone has a story. Get it written down and feel the same sense of accomplishment as Shakespeare, Plath and Hemingway. Let your horizons become your middle distance and surprise yourself. There is no worse feeling in this life than the feeling of 'What if?’. That’s my words of encouragement for today, let me know how you get on.
