“The city looks different at night.” (Jamison)

“I know isn’t it pretty?” She asked with a smile as she held his hand. The sounds of laughter, the lights, everyone was happy here. Even if the nearby Community of the Lost was making certain people here in the capitol on edge it was...nice. “I’ll almost miss it, once I go back to Peru, hey here’s an idea....maybe you could come visit sometime.”

Jamison nodded, though he was a bit stiff as she held his hand. Honestly, he hadn’t expected it, but he wasn’t going to pull away either. “Very pretty.” He nodded, looking out over the area they were in. “You are pretty as well.” Jamison hummed, though he wasn’t sure why he said it, it had just slipped out.

“Visit Peru? I don’t know if your parents would want me visiting you there.” he pointed out.

“What are you doing out this late?” (Jamison)

“I should ask you the same thing honestly, if you must know I’m going for a walk.” She says, folding her arms together, as the rpincess looks at him and...wait a minute. Nah vampires weren’t a thing? At least where she was from they weren’t. “Wanna come with me? A fair princess needs a gallant knight to defend her.”

Jamison couldn't help but to chuckle as she talked about her sense of direction. "Oh sure, because every princess knows exactly where they're going all the time." He teased, shaking his head. He didn't mind running into her, there were few he actually got along with so a nice face was always welcome.

"I was taking a walk. I wasn't going to get any sleep and I didn't want to have to just lay around all night." Jamison murmured. "What about you? What are you doing walking around, princess?"

“I want to live my life without troubling anyone.” (Jamison)

“That’s so boring though, and a little worrisome. I mean, sure it’s selfless and all to an extent but y’know what? I think it’s ok to be selfish sometimes and trouble people…granted, you shouldn’t bee too troublesome but it’s better than not at all.” Said the princess, as she looked up at him.

"It's not much of a story. I mean, I was adopted by Esme and Carlisle Cullen. I had been traveling when I came across a mugging. I tried to intervene and the woman got away thankfully but I....wasn't so lucky. Carlisle found me and saved me. So I've lived with them ever since, jumping from place to place with my family." Jamison explained, stuffing his hands into his pockets.

He could have been more specific, especially since he left out important details like he was traveling back in the 1950s and how he was the same age cause he was saved by vampires by being turned into a vampire.

Jamison nodded his head as he observed the girl. He couldn’t blame her, it was after all the same reason he was out there. That and the fact that he didn’t sleep so he was always trying to find something to do.

“I see. Being out here so late at night doesn’t worry you?” He questioned, furrowing his eyebrows a bit. Some people didn’t let it bother them but he wasn’t sure she seemed the type.

Jamison listened to her and nodded her head. "I guess you have a bit of a point." He murmured, rubbing the back of his neck. Everyone makes some kind of impact, whether they want to or not.

"It's not much. I was in Mount Washington, New Hampshire when the Cullen's found me. I was uh.... I was mugged and left for dead and Carlisle found me. Him being a doctor saved me and I've been with them ever since." He wouldn't mention being a vampire. Sure, there were a ton of supernatural creatures around, but he wouldn't advertise since it wasn't important. If she asked however, he would tell.

Jamison smiled at Mira and hummed. “Not sure gallant knight is something I can be called but a walk could do some good. It’s what I was doing anyways.” He smiled, rubbing the back of his head. Since he didn’t sleep, he was trying to constantly find something to do.

“What does ‘naturally’ mean to you? Huh?” (Jamison)

“‘Naturally’ means coming from the elements of the earth and being magically harnessed,” Sarah said, “You sound so angry.  Why is that?  Did I touch a nerve?”@newxleaseonlife

“Lack of fangs is what you go by? You’re a bad judge of species.” He quipped, though he couldn’t blame her. Him and his family looked like extremely pale humans ninety percent of the time. 

He took a step back, slightly uncomfortable with the proximity to a human and didn’t breathe, not that he had to. “Vampire.” He stated, shrugging a bit.

“It’s best for me to keep my interactions with others to the bare minimum.” - Jamison

“I-I get that.” Lana sympathized. “For a multitude of reasons.”

Jamison nodded his head. “You’re the only other vampire I’ve met other than my uh.... my family. I’ve heard stories of others and was told I wouldn’t want to meet most of them.” He admitted with a shrug. It was strange to be talking about it to someone. “Who did you hear was awful? I heard a whole bunch of vampires in Italy were some to stay away from.”

“I-I get that.” Lana sympathized. “For a multitude of reasons.”

Jamison nodded his head and smiles a little bit. It was a little overwhelming, meeting another vampire that wasn’t in his family. “Do you know of other vampires?”

Jamison nodded a bit and hummed some. “I suppose so but I mean, really I wouldn’t exist today if Carlisle and Esme hadn’t found me so I guess I try to make as little impact on the world as possible.” He shrugged, smiling a bit at her to hide any other expression on his face. He was glad briefly that he didn’t have to deal with the cold but still bundled up like one normally would.

Jamison rolled his eyes at the girl. She almost seemed to enjoy her own words too much. “Nope. Just asking you a question.” He shrugged, looking out over the frozen ice as he had a leaf twirl through his fingers using air. He had asked because it was on his mind lately; was he natural or unnatural in a world that held many vampires.

“What exactly would a nice way to put it be? Because I hate to break it to you but that’s probably the worst ice skating I’ve ever seen in my life, and it’s been a long one.” Jamison hummed, watching the other and shaking his head.He had lived all over and during the winter seasons he was able to learn and master ice skating to a degree, one of his many, many hobbies.

“Someone who doesn’t sparkle in the sun.” Said Jace, noting the sparkles that danced around on Jamison’s skin. He’d thus far run into two vampires here...huh, interesting. Even so, Jace isn’t like his mother whose all slay first and ask questions later. “I’m not gonna hurt you though, just uh a little weirded out by the sparkles because again that doesn’t usually occur with the vampires back home.”

Jamison adjusted the jack to cover his hands, though he couldn’t do much about covering his face. It was one of the downsides to the whole vampire thing, sparkling in the sun. “Must be a specific kind of vampire.” He shrugged. He was use tot he odd looks at the sparkles but he was always trying to ignore it, suddenly he wished he could turn invisible like some of his vampire family.

Jamison scoffed a bit. “I wasn’t really all that worried about you hurting me but thanks for the heads up.” He hummed, waving his fingers a bit and a gust of air blew by the boy by him and water rose out of the ground.
