↳ It seemed like it had been hours since he started to work on the papers. For the most part he was in the office of the Armed Detective Agency, doing some paper work as he had just recently joined them. He wanted to start of slowly and not rush into his first mission. For that he had missed too many years and he was not up to date of the current situation of Yokohama. It would’ve been rather foolish to send Oda out there to go on a mission. 

↳ Oda didn’t mind, though. He enjoyed the time in the office as he could get to know the other members of the Agency. When he finished some of the paper work, he walked over to Kunikida and placed it down there for the other to give it a glance over. There had been something on his mind ever since he had joined the Agency and had seen Dazai here again and as the other detective was not around, Oda felt like he could finally ask someone about it. “ How is... Dazai?”

↳ Oda found it rather interesting that such young people joined the Armed Detective Agency. It made sense that someone like Regulus would join ( He was not the only young one in the Agency after all. ) There was a part of Oda that couldn’t help but be a bit worried about it anyway. Despite the other having an ability just like anyone else here, it didn’t ease the feeling Oda was having most of the time. 

↳ Though it made the fact that both of them were supposed to go and look for something together a bit better as he could watch over the other. The Port Mafia was apparently up to something and Oda and Regulus were supposed to go and find out what exactly it was. It might not have been the best decision to send Oda as some people still believed he was dead but no one else was free right now and Oda didn’t mind. So now he found himself silently walking alongside Regulus, going to the destination they were supposed to go.

↳ There had been a certain type of nervousness as he approached her house after all these years. It had been four years since he had disappeared without a trace and let everyone in the believe that he died. It hadn’t been in his intention but it was the safest way for everyone, especially for the people he cared about. When enough time had passed and the things that had happened seemed to be in the past, Oda could finally show himself again. When he arrived in Yokohama he was curious to see what had happened to Dazai, Ango and Lia. Three people that were important to him. He could guess that Ango was likely not part of the Port Mafia anymore due to the circumstances. With Dazai and Lia he wasn’t sure were or what they could be up to. 

↳ His question to Dazai got answered not much later as he had decided to join the Armed Detective Agency and found Dazai in there. It seemed like he had taken his words seriously and it made Oda happy to know that. Now the only person he really wanted to see was Lia. With Dazai’s help he had found out where he was living and had taken all his courage to face her after all these years. In his hands were some flowers that he specially bought for her. Now he was waiting in front of the door, hoping that she was there and still willing to see him. He knew that he had a lot to explain to her.

A calm walk through Yokohama had been his plans for today. Oda wanted to see how much had changed in the past few years since he’d been out of town. To him, the city seemed more calm now. There was still danger luring in the dark and he knew it, but nothing that he needed to fear. 

His way brought him to a park where he spotted a familiar child. Oda stopped in his tracks and looked at Yumeno. For a moment he can’t believe that he’s actually seeing him and not just an illusion of his own mind. ( He believed that Yumeno wouldn’t survive long at the Port Mafia, considering how young he was and how bad the circumstances were there. ) He didn’t waste any time to walk towards him. 

"Yumeno-kun? Is that you?” He asked, looking rather surprised, but soon a smile appeared on his face. There would be a lot of questions but he was glad to answer all of them. Though, first he wanted to make sure that Yumeno was alright.

There was no doubt that he was, indeed, nervous about coming back to Yokohama. One of the reasons was his past with the Port Mafia and the fact that he almost died. ( That he manage to get away from all of this for over four years was still amazing to him. ) It hadn’t taken long for him to find a place to work at. The armed detective Agency. They had accepted him and were happy to have him there. There was one thing he didn’t know, though. 

Oda’s eye’s slightly widen as he entered the room and saw a familiar face. He hadn’t seen this face in such a long time. ( Often had he wondered what Dazai was up to and if he would be mad if he knew that Oda was still alive. ) For a moment he stays silent before he notices some of the other members giving him weird looks. Without saying much, he sits down across from Dazai before finally giving his old friend a closer look. “ Hello Dazai. I didn’t expect to see you here....”

A few weeks had passed since Oda had joined the armed detective agency. There were a lot of things he still had to get used to, such as being around Dazai or the fact that he was in Yokohama again. ( Of course he was being careful as he didn’t want to catch the Port Mafia’s attention. ) Today seemed to be another quiet day and most of the members seemed to be out, working on small missions, only leaving Oda and Kunikida behind. 

"I finished the reports you’ve been asking me.” Oda carefully placed them on Kunikida’s desk. ( Sometimes he really admired how much Kunikida could work and how dedicated he was. ) Instead of going back to his desk, though, he decides to stand there. “ How... how has Dazai been before I arrived? He seems much happier nowadays...”
