i always think about how like…judy and nick were both traumatized as children and how differently they handled it 

like judy used it as ammunition, as motivation, to rise above and be more. but at the same time she was still prejudiced. she took a bad experience with one person and labeled an entire group because of it 

and then there’s nicholas “never let them see that they get to you” wilde who became the stereotype the world wanted him to be, the sly uncaring fox, but really really just wants be something else something more who cares very very deeply about others and how they see him just.
