Scars.

I spent too long on these..

Anyway I like to think that Aymeric's actually pretty broad underneath those pretty layers because look at the size of Naegling. And he can swing it around with one hand.

Also his scars are a combination of dragonfighting wounds from his knight times, and the torture wounds from the Vault.

Estinien's scars are all from battles, and he got two from that time Nidhogg's eyes were lodged into his arm and shoulder.
