Thirty minutes until I head over to my Events meeting with my new team. This will mark our first meeting, and I can say I'm a bit nervous. I never had my own team, let alone, I never really lead a group. Since moving here, I have had the privilege to be working in the leadership with Unplugged at South Bay Church. They have been truly a blessing to me and I have grown so much within the two months being with them. And they've allowed me to build my events team.

Last night, I heard a message from Liz Wiseman talking about being a multiplier type leader. This multiplier is to empower their group and delegate them certain tasks with trust. I can't remember a time where I have been able to do this. Not that I want things to be done my way, but I want it to be done period. I have a hard time letting people take on important tasks because I don't want anything to go wrong. I hope tonight in my meeting I can take what I've learned yesterday an apply it.

P.S. I don't necessarily blog anymore. I do miss it though. It's something that kept my mind straight.

I love people so much, that I find myself getting hurt. I mean I'm not looking for attention or all the love towards me. But I pour my heart out to people and I'm so sooooo open for people to trust me and open up to me, I get so sad when they close me off instead. I just want to help people.
