過去にスケブ交換で描かせていただいたイラストその1。 (今は使ってない旧ネーム＆アドレスが書いてあった箇所にモザイク掛けました)

人生の中でもトップクラスのワースト時期に描いたのに、この時期に描いた絵が本当に今でも大好きなんですよね。特に線画。 半年間泣き暮らしてた人生のどん底時期なのに、反比例してこの時期の絵は今でも1番と言っていいくらい好き。 とても良い絵を描けていた。あの時は気付けなかったけれど、私の絵だ。

間違いなく絵は私を救ってくれていた。そして今も。感謝しかない。

Here’s the first illustration I drew for a sketchbook exchange back in the day. (I’ve blurred out the part where my old personal information was written.)

Even though I drew this during one of the absolute worst periods of my life, I still really love the art I created back then. Especially the line art. It was a time when I was at rock bottom and spent half a year crying my eyes out, but I still love the art from that period—I’d even say it’s my favorite. I was able to create some really good art back then. I didn’t realize it at the time, but that’s my art.

There’s no doubt that drawing saved me back then. And it still does now. I’m just so grateful.

らくがき。(自分が)頑張りたくて描いたやつ。 今描いてる漫画の気弱な主人公と前向き元気ヒロイン。

おまけで描いたサブキャラず。自信家の騎士様とひねくれ者の時計番。

以前「大ラフから清書の差がひどい。」と言いましたが、改めて見たら清書も描き始めから描き終わりまでが大概でした。 これだから効率を考えない力押し系お絵描きマンはいけないと思いました。

ドリフターズよりブッチとキッド。 右側は私的な事書いてあったのでモザイクかけました。

読む前は絶対与一キュンにハマるだろうなと思っていたのですが、蓋を開けたらブッチ推しでした。 まあ西部劇だからね。そりゃあ落ちるよね、仕方ないよねって言う。

この影響で『明日に向かって撃て』『新・明日に向かって撃て』を観たのですが、思ったよりだいぶコメディで驚きました。面白かったです。 泳げない事カミングアウトするキッドさんかわいいなw大笑いで済ますブッチもいい。 あと新の最後の列車強盗の攻防が楽しそう過ぎてほんと好き。 そしてドリフのブッチはすごく撃ちまくってるな……って思ったけど、ボリビア後の話だから良いのか。(良いのか？)

繋がりで『ワイルドバンチ』も気になっているのですが、ペキンパー監督作品は色んな意味で描写が生々しくて観るのためらっちゃうんですよね。 バイオレンス耐性もグロ耐性もあるのですが、あまりにもリアル寄り過ぎる演出は現実的な想像ができ過ぎて苦手なんだよなあ。

Butch and Kid from 『Drifters』. I blurred out the right side because it contained personal information.

Before reading it, I was sure I’d fall for Yoichi, but when I actually got into it, I ended up rooting for Butch. Well, it is a Western, after all. I guess it’s only natural to fall for him—can’t help it.

Because of this, I watched 『Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid』 and 『Butch and Sundance -The Early Days-』, and I was surprised by how much more comedic they were than I expected. They were fun. Kid coming out about not being able to swim is so cute lol. Butch just laughing it off is great too. Also, the final train robbery showdown in "Butch and Sundance -The Early Days-" looks so much fun—I really love it. And I thought, “Man, Drifters’s Butch sure does a lot of shooting…” but since it’s set after Bolivia, I guess that’s okay. (Is it okay?)

Speaking of which, I’m also curious about 『The Wild Bunch』, but Peckinpah’s films are so raw in their depiction in so many ways that I hesitate to watch them. I can handle violence and gore, but I’m not good with overly realistic direction because it makes me visualize things too clearly.

艦隊これくしょんより島風。

昔の絵なのですが、ともだちが艦これをプレイしていると聞いた時に便乗して描きました。 ぜかましちゃん、デザイン可愛いから1度描いてみたかったんです。 結果が誰だよ状態なのはスルーしてください。ごめん。

しかし自分の描く線の描写はこの頃のが1番好きだな。 今は再現出来なくなっちゃって悲しい……。 まさか自分の技術を自分でロストテクノロジーにするとは。愚かだ。

Shimakaze from Kantai Collection.

This is an old drawing, but I decided to jump on the bandwagon when I heard a friend was playing Kantai Collection. Zekamashi-chan has such a cute design, so I’ve always wanted to draw her. Please ignore the fact that the result looks like “Who on earth is this?” Sorry.

That said, I actually like the way my lines look in this piece the best. It’s sad that I can’t recreate that style anymore… Who would’ve thought I’d turn my own skills into “lost technology”? How foolish of me.

本日はノイの一周忌でした。 あまりにも急逝だった為か1年経った今でもまだノイに会いたい気持ちが消えず、未だにノイのリードや食器、ベッドなどを処分できない気持ちの整理もついていない状態ですが、一緒に居てくれるリヒトのお陰で少しづつ心を癒し前に向けて進めています。

4コマ漫画『リヒとノイ』を読んでくださった皆様には感謝の言葉もございません。 読んでいただける事で皆様がノイの事を知ってくださる、「こんな子がいたんだー」と思っていただける、それだけで私は救われます。

コピー用紙にシャーペンで描いたものをデジタルで塗ったらくがき。 後から気付いたけど風向き……！(何も考えてなかった)

厚塗りっぽい塗りも好きなのですが、いかんせん線画を描き込みたいタイプなので、線画が潰れやすい厚塗り系とは相性悪いんですよね。う～む。

I do like thick,layered coloring too, but since I'm the type who wants to draw detailed line art,it doesn't really go well with thick-layered styles that tend to smudge the lines. Hmm.
