Cult of the Lamb has recently become my obsession, so I decided to combine it with my long-term obsession- roleplaying! I had this blog for about two months now I think, and it has been quite fun so far!

Hi! Yes, I'm doing alright, just been busy between moving to a new apartment and starting at a new job I'll be honest I don't think this blog will become active again, at least not as it was. Fist off, I was unemployed during that time and I do not have the time for it anymore, at least if I still wanna do other hobbies. That, and, honestly Tumblr rp didn't turn out to be very fun for me. I do prefer to just rp with one person at a time in private chats, which I still do. Especially like.. keeping up with events and stuff that happen between blogs has always been hard for me since I move at a slower pace and am in a different timezone from most

I'm still keeping up the blog for character related reblogs and I might eventually revive it to be an ask blog for my fic when/if I write it

Guysguysgsysysgs what are your Lamb's opinion on cannibalism? Would they prefer to force their followers to eat grass when low on food or just say fuck it and let them eat eachother? Personally, my Lamb was caught off guard at first when choosing the doctrines (I think that's how you spell it?? Idk I didn't check) and choose grass out of shock that'd be an option and thought it wasn't that necessary but after many, many famines they just gave up and said food is food idc,,

they also didn't have to build anymore graves so that was a plus since now they could use the resources on other thingsss

my last post has fizzled out a bit, and ive gone ahead and bitten the bullet and made myself a gofundme to try and get these moving and life expenses covered. usual spiel i am disabled and currently the only income i have is what i make off of art. even that has been increasingly difficult lately, and while i have a space lines up for me to move to in december i need help with saving up the funds to get there and to continue getting by in the mean time. anything helps

Silas had gotten through about halfway of the pile of papers The Shepherd had asked him to organize.

But a single sentence, right at the start of the text, had completely stumped him. No matter how he read it he just couldn't decipher what it said.

After fruitlessly turning the paper in every angle possible, he had to turn to his last resort.

As soon as he saw the figure walk past his open door, he called out:

"Dotty! Could you come here for a minute?"

"Hmmm?" Dotty cautiously stepped in, curious. It made sense, since he usually avoided contact with her.

Silas lifts up the page, pointing to glorified scribble he could only hope was a word.

"Do you know what this says?"

Dotty leaned forward, pointer finger on her chin. She squinted at it.

"Eh... Wait, is this a P or a D?" She asked, tapping a claw against the paper.

"Uh... A D? I'm not sure myself."

"Makes sense, "Pove" isn't a word..." Dotty tilted her head to the right, then to the left. "I think it says Dove."

"Dove?" Silas brought the paper closer to his face. "I thought the fourth letter was an E..."

"Well Doee doesn't make as much sense."

"Why would they write "Dove"?"

"Hold up, let me look again." Dotty pulls the paper out of his hands, bringing it so close that her snout touches the page. Then, she looks over the rest of the paragraph.

"Holy fish sticks... Who wrote this?"

"... The Lamb."

There is a single moment of pure silence, where they both stare at eachother blankly.

.... Then, they both start laughing.

"Ah, wait... It's "Does"."

Dotty raises an eyebrow. "That's an S?"

He shrugs.

"Aw, c'mon, you know me. It's just Dotty." Dotty reaches behind Anthea to shut the door.

The hut is smaller than you'd expect, only a couple of rooms. One for each disciple and a bathroom. And of course a small living area with a table and a few chairs.

Dotty absentmindedly started picking up a few items that were scattered on the floor as she spoke, looks like she forgot to clean up. "If you ask me, I'm the least "disciple" out of the three of us. Does that make sense? I didn't exactly do anything to earn the title― it was because of Briar."

"Oh, sit down wherever, make yourself comfortable." She briefly steps into a room, presumably to put away the items.

"I mean, clearly I'm not that important if Lamb's fine with not having me around for... A while." Once she returns, she sits down herself.

"... I feel like I'm talking a lot. Am I talking a lot? I'm sorry, how are YOU doing?"

Escape route closed, meaning she will have to stay until the disciples dismiss her. It is this friendliness in particular that puts her on edge, unsure what intentions to read between the lines here. Dotty always is so nice, but it could very well be that the next moment Briar shows up to interrogate her again.

"...okay."

She is unsure how to respond to the other's venting, none of this feels like her position to form an opinion on, or even know about. In her experience, the less you know about the cult you are on, the better. After standing there for a moment, looking like any moment she might just decide to go to the door again, she finally sat down on one of the chairs.

"I am fine, thank you. I don't mind your talking, I'm just not....that good at conversations."
