You know, Iâve experimented with some blogs in a couple different fandoms now, and itâs made me realize how awesome the League RP community here on tumblr is compared to others. Despite the occasional drama incident that apparently erupts, itâs nice to see we donât have a million âprivate and selectiveâ blogs that can be extremely difficult and intimidating to approach. I know that I can approach most of you for an RP just about anytime and not have to fear being turned down just because we arenât mutuals or whatever.))
TBH, this is another reason why I donât come here a lot. I legit get fairly busy irl sometimes, but I also feel the need to drag threads out as long as possible since starting new ones can be tough sometimes...

Siegbert had noticed that Leo had huffed something under his breath, but wasnât sure if he should say anything. So, at the moment, he decided not to.
âOf course,â Siegbert replied. âIn fact, I was assigned a few tactics assignments this morning. I was wondering if youâd look my plans over before I turned them in to my tutor?â
Leo smiled, as if heâd not said anything at all worth noting. âOf course. I mentored Corrin on strategies, after-all; Iâm sure I could teach you a thing or two as well.â Even though it wasnât likely Nohr would be involved in another major conflict anytime soon, such skills were still important to have.
âWhere are these assignment? Do you have them on you, or...?â
Leo walked across the stone walls of the fort, inspecting each of the soldiers before him. He stopped suddenly, and looked up and down one in-particular. "...You. What's your name and rank?" (nohrian-mage)
Ron watched quietly as the prince looked over the soldiers. The prince stopped in front of him asking questions. âMy name is Ron. Ron Strife,â He stopped there, unable to think of the answer. What was he? He was a former mercenary who enlisted because his guild had fallen, and he needed to go forward. âSorry donât know if I have a rank. Iâm just a former merc,âÂ

nohrian-mage:
Leo nodded. âA new recruit, then. That explains much.â Leo looked to the other soldiers briefly, then nodded. âVery-well. Thatâs all I needed to know.â Though the prince didnât care much for mercenaries, a soldier was a soldier, regardless of their past⊠And if Father was willing to tolerate a maniac like Hans, Leo could deal with this one.
âAlright, well glad to answer your question sir,â Ron only shrugged. Thoughts about his old guild make too mind, but he shook them away. He couldnât think of them. âWouldnât help moving on,â
Leo dismissed the soldiers, suspecting nothing out-of-the-ordinary save for having a former mercenary in their midst, which wasnât anything worth fretting over. The had an attack to prepare for, as a scout had recently reported a Hoshidan unit heading their way.
outlawarcher:
âYouâll think about it? For a Nohrian prince, you really arenât that good with blood, are you?â Niles rolled his eye, deciding to shut up for a few minutes as they approached the gates. Thankfully, they were let through without incident- that was a relief, as he really didnât fancy another fight.
âSo, whereâs this soundproof room?â Niles only spoke up when he was sure they were well away from any guards or anyone else who might be listening- and even then, he kept his voice low. Just in case.
Leo cast a glance at his retainer, as if heâd just asked an extremely moronic question. Good with blood? Had Niles forgotten that Leo had fought in the war, both with Hoshido and then the Silent Dragon? The prince had seen more blood, death, and suffering than heâd ever wanted to in his lifetime. âDonât confuse me for my father... I donât relish in othersâ suffering.â
When they were let through, people approached the party with the intent of giving him medical care-that was the ruse, after-all. Fortunately, Jacob managed to dismiss them, since he himself was a healer. They just needed a private place to tend to their wounded... And sure enough, Leo managed to sneak them off to the place where heâd killed Zola; the entrance to the torture chamber.
A Royal Disaster

She chuckled, too tuckered out to really retort to his not so quiet thought to himself. Suppose thatâs true, though it was kinda helpful in situations like this where there were so many questions. They couldnât give up.Â
âOkie-dokie, be careful! Holler if you need help and Iâll come running!â She says with a nod. She didnât want him to push himself and reopen any wounds. They had a couple days ahead of them, yet.
Leo nodded, and headed out. He gathered whatever wood he could carry, always wary of another attack. Fortunately, no further invisible soldiers came. He soon returned to the cave carrying a small bundle. He knew the physical strain couldnât be too good for him... But the pain had dulled enough to the point that it wasnât much of an effort anymore.
Leo sat down and began arranging the sticks the best he knew how. Ultimately, the prince was able to get a fire going, albeit a small one. âI suppose this will have to do... Iâm hardly an expert at this sort of thing.â
Royal Trial
handofnohr:
Camilla received an order from the new king of Nohr to meet up with the ice tribe chief to show condolences regarding the death of his daughter.Â
Usually her two retainers would be here to aid the big sister to that said destination. Her pet and mount wyvern will brace itself to venture through despite how cold that place is.
âAs you wish, Your Majesty.â She bows to him and said  âI shall take my leave and give him a visit.â While Selena looked at the other, as much as wanted to go with Camilla, staying is necessary. There she left the castle and will return until further notice.
Leo nodded, watching Camilla leave. Leo wanted to send a small escort after his sister, but... It would be best if she went alone. Sending a more heavily-armed force would assuredly only make the people of the Ice Tribe wary, and on top of that, Camilla was a fierce warrior in-and-of-herself. If there was any trouble, he had little doubt she could fend off her attackers, at least long enough to escape.
Leo would go about other tasks, sending messengers to other territories to try and make up for the damage that Nohr had caused in the past. Some were... More accepting of the apology than others. Of course, as days went by, he waited patiently for Camillaâs return, and her response from the Ice Tribe.
Iâm just a former merc,âÂ
the-tactician-knight:
âYes.â He answered the princeâs question with a completely blunt tone. âIâve been a mercenary all my life, but I canât do that anymore. Heard you were looking for soldiers, so yeah, I mean I did enlist in the army as a soldier, not a mercenary,âÂ
Leo nodded. âA new recruit, then. That explains much.â Leo looked to the other soldiers briefly, then nodded. âVery-well. Thatâs all I needed to know.â The prince didnât care much for mercenaries, a soldier was a soldier, regardless of their past... And if Father was willing to tolerate a maniac like Hans, Leo could deal with this one.
outlawarcher:
âAh, really? Hmm⊠If that room isnât guarded, it sounds as if it would be absolutely perfect for our purposesâŠâ Niles patted the unconscious manâs thigh, a cold chuckle escaping him. He was looking forward to this.
âWill you be present for the interrogation? I feel as though you will have a better grasp on what questions need to be asked, milord. Itâll look a little unprofessional if Iâm running out of the room every few minutes to consult you, after all.â
Leo, admittedly, didnât know if the room was still a torture chamber... It was more of a hunch, really. Azura seemed to find the idea that it would still be there strange, but they didnât have much time to debate the matter. As the small party made their way through Izumoâs streets, the palace started to loom overhead.
Leo looked to his retainer. âI, um... Iâll think about it.â When they reached the gate, the guards stared at the party, confused. Jakob quickly told them the explanation for what was happening-that theyâd been attacked by ninjas in the street, and they needed shelter. Upon realizing they were dealing with a Nohrian prince and Vallan princess, the guards permitted the royals to pass... This place really did have awful security.
Apologies for Inactivity
College has recently started back for me, so needless to say, thatâs going to take up a fair bit of my time from here on.
Ron Strife,â He stopped there, unable to think of the answer. âAh, I see.â Leo stepped back a bit. âI thought there was something different about you...â He raised an eyebrow. âWait... Former mercenary?â If he had just been a hired sword for the fort, that was one one thing... But the fact that he wasnât a mercenary any longer left him slightly confused. âSo then... You actually are a soldier now?â
A Royal Disaster
cutieheals:
Concern for a hypothetical  animal was an afterthought, though she wouldnât want any poor animal getting hurt either. She didnât want anymore anyone getting hurt today! She just wanted to curl up in a warm bed and have things back to normal.
She smiles and nods. âItâs better then sleeping in the dirt outside, at least!â She muses, entering the Cave herself. after a short bit of exploration (The cave is neither deep enough nor full of much to see), she plops herself down to rest.
Leo nodded. It wasnât much, but it was something... âAlways looking for the bright side of any situation... Thatâs Princess Elise for you.â He muttered it more to himself than actually speaking to her, but perhaps a bit louder than heâd actually wanted to.
As Elise plopped herself down, the prince looked back to the forest. â...Iâm going to go and fetch us some fire wood. We donât have blankets to keep us warm, but a flame will likely suffice.â
outlawarcher:
Niles nodded. Staying around to continue the fight when there were soldiers to do it for them seemed stupid when they were carrying such precious cargo. He bent down, hoisting their prisoner over his shoulder and starting to head back.
âWhere are we going to interrogate him, exactly? Commandeering the castle dungeons is suspicious, but I worry that our bedrooms arenât exactly soundproofâŠâ Niles eyed the man in his arms. âThis oneâs a screamer, you know.â
Taking advantage of the situation the soldiers gave, the party made their way further toward the palace. The fighting was starting to wake people up, drawing the attention of civilians as well as the local guards... But right now, Leo was busy thinking through what they were going to do when they reached the palace.
âYou neednât worry to much about that, Niles. When he was masquerading as the former archduke, Zola set up a room just for those sorts of activities... And I have a sneaking suspicion that it may still be there.â
gallant-gained:
Siegbert nodded.
âI am aware, Uncle,â he replied, swallowing the feeling of dread that was rising up from within him. More years of waiting meant more years spent under his fatherâs shadow, and more years of Xander setting the bar higher and higher for him. It was both terrifying and motivating; he could push himself to meet his peopleâs expectationsâŠor fall into the pit that was being the âweak linkâ in the dynasty.
âBut Iâve decided to look at this in a positive light,â he half-lied. âI can spend the extra years Iâve been given improving myself until I am a worthy heir. And I will! I promise, I wonât let you, nor the kingdom of Nohr down.â
Leo nodded. Because of the war, the royal bloodline of Nohr had been placed in quite an awkward position... But at least Siegbert seemed to be aware of the problem. âI see. It good that you had already given this matter some thought.â He placed a hand on Siegbertâs shoulder. âWhen the time comes, I know youâll be a good king.â
Leo removed his hand, then muttered. âItâs hard to be much worse than my father...â He shook his head, then spoke up again. âEither way, if you ever have questions or need advice, know that, as my nephew, you can always come to me.â
gallant-gained:
@nohrian-mage continued from here
âOh,â Siegbertâs brow creased; this wasâŠsudden, wasnât it?
âWell, at times, of course it does. I am just shy of adulthood, yet, I am just now seeing my family on a regular basis. And I am still adjusting to Nohrâs climateâŠbut I will in time! Please donât worry.â
âEr, but why do you ask, Uncle?â
Leo, once again, was silent for a long moment. Then, finding his words, the mage continued. âWell, as Xanderâs first and only son, you are to inherit the throne from him one day; something youâve been training for the majority of your life, as I understand. However...â
âDue to the unusual circumstances of your age, you are but a few years younger than your father. As such, it is likely your reign will not come about for quite some time...â Unless something were to happen to Xander, but Leo didnât particularly care to address that thought.
outlawarcher:
Niles could hear the noises of surprise and frustration as Leoâs tree roots got to work. He still couldnât see their enemies, but he aimed for the noises, loosing one arrow after another. All of them seemed to land- he certainly couldnât hear any more struggling.
He glanced around their little group after that, a slight frown creasing his forehead. Jakobâs wound wasnât fatal, and they still had their prisoner. âWas that itâŠ? If so, we need to hurry back. Now.â
Leo nodded as Niles seemed to strike true, even in the darkness. Unfortunately, a few more shurikens confirmed that the assault was not over. Nyx offed a few opponents with a spell, but over-all they were still outnumbered... Until the rest of the Nohrian soldiers arrived.
Still clad as civilians, the men and women who had accompanied Leo, Nyx, and Niles finally revealed themselves and began clashing with the assailants. âTook them long enough... Come on. Grab the prisoners and letâs get going.â
"Ah, Siegbert. Do you have a minute? There's something I wished to talk to about." It seemed obvious that Leo had been searching for his nephew for quite a while now. (nohrian-mage)
@nohrian-mage
âOf course, Uncle Leo.â
âWhat is it?â Siegbert couldnât help but feel the tiniest bit worried; his uncle didnât seem all that relaxed. Hopefully nothing had happened to his father.
Leo hesitated briefly. He knew that this was something of a sensitive subject, and perhaps not his place to speak, but... The mage just couldnât seem to let the matter out of his mind. Sooner or later, it would need to be addressed.
âWell, itâs... About your age. As you know, because of your upbringing in the Deep Realms, youâve matured far faster than you normally would have. Iâm sure you understand this puts you in a somewhat... Awkward position?â
