hello everyone! my first official post here is a gift of four lots i spent this weekend building. they range from 3 to 8 (... i know) bedrooms, and are meant to go together as a small 'neighborhood' of sorts.

in my own personal strangetown, i've used hoodreplacer to change the terrain (this one specifically) to have more roads available, so these were created for that in mind, however these lots could easily be used in any other setting you wish! i think they'd be super cute in the monty side of veronaville.

anyway... enough rambling here is some more info + photos of the lots!

Pretty in Persimmon | Sims 2 Residential Lot Download

This warm, sunset-hued cottage has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is built on a 3x2 lot. This home comes almost entirely unfurnished except for the kitchen, and bathrooms, but please don't let that put you off! I've used a variety of wallpapers inside to add to the coziness.

I'll share the floorplans in just a moment, but first, here is the back of the home:

Ok, now for the floor plans!

1st Floor: Clockwise from top left: kitchen, office nook, living room, entryway, bathroom, and dining room.

2nd Floor: Clockwise from left: master bedroom, bathroom, kids bedroom 1, bathroom, kids bedroom 2, landing, and upstairs family room (could be turned into a 4th bedroom, if desired).

I’ve run this home through the Lot Compressor so any random references to sims that aren’t there should be removed. I have also run this lot through the Lot Cleaner to remove any bits of buggy code. This lot comes with a shiny custom thumbnail so it has even more curb appeal in your Lots and Houses bin! 😄

This home has only 1 piece of CC, which you may already have in your game. It can easily be replaced or omitted if you don’t want it though.

CC List (Included): -Maxis Match Wall Cabinets by CTNutmegger at ModtheSims

If you want your chimney to look like the one in the picture you'll also need to grab these Maxis match brick chimney recolors, but the original chimney texture should also look just fine with this lot.

I ALWAYS recommend using the Sims 2 Pack Clean installer to install lot files.

On the very last day of the year, I'm squeaking one last thing in! (Well two, because it's separates.) It's the guys' turn again, because today's the last day of the Ladies' Night Is Cancelled theme at GoS. Go get it there, and check out all the other great stuff for the bimonthly themes!

Yet another cute TS4 thing I saw and urgently needed to convert. I love @creamlattedream's style in general, but their animal hoodies in particular caught my eye. They're so cute, and they're hand drawn!

There are ten different animals, on various colorful backgrounds. They're set as CU Everyday. The ears on the two bunnies sit kinda weirdly when they stand still, but when do sim kids ever stand still?

Two lots coming at ya! These were both highly requested from two of my videos, here and here.

Also, I JUST noticed that the top one is actually 4 bed, 4 bath. Originally it had 3 baths and that’s how I named it in my lot bin, but I added a 4th later. But you get the idea! Bonus bathroom!

So I tweaked them from my lots bin to make them slightly CC-light(ish). I swapped out a few things that had easy subs to make for in game content, or where the CC version I used wasn’t essential for the style of the home. These lots are unfurnished.

Of course any CC always drags a bunch of stuff with it, so use Clean Installer to download.

NOTE: Before downloading make sure you have Honeywell’s Bespoke Build set and Veranka’s Bubu Build set. Both are repositoried and I’m not sure if the lot packaging pulls the master files along. Unless you’re going to use Clean Installer to strip out all CC, then don’t worry. The science and magic of lot packaging is mysterious to me, so if you see a lot of blue flashing just swap things out for stuff you already have! :p

I'll bet you thought I forgot you - well, I didn't!

amhairbigfoot, amhairbigfootvest, ambodybigfoot, and ambodybigfootvest replaced with @mdpthatsme's 4t2 EF13 Yeti, boardshorts, and sunglasses. Because this is a suit that covers the head, and not an actual head, the face of Bigfoot will look wonky in his pie menus. I attempted to make his menu head invisible, but was unable to, so I used fanseelamb's textures, as well as EA's and a recolor for the menu head. If anyone out there knows how to make the face/head invisible, I will compose ballads of glory in your honor.

You have three options: Yeti, Sasquatch, or Yowie.

Blurry Skies

This is a set of cloudy and somewhat blurry default replacement textures for skies. It also features a matching moon replacement, and a sun hider. The set contains:

Sky Lot Day – 241: a clear day sky in the lot view,

Sky Nhd – 241: a clear day sky in the neighborhood view,

Sky Night – 57: a night sky,

Sky Autumn – 89: an autumn sky (introduced in Seasons),

Sky Overcast – 158: an overcast sky when it’s raining or hailing (introduced in Seasons),

Sky Snowy – 101: an overcast sky when it’s snowing (introduced in Seasons),

Moon – Darker: a moon that matches the replaced night sky,

Sun – No Sun: makes the sun and its glow invisible.

The numbers in the file names correspond to the numbers of sky map textures from HDRI Skies they were based on. Note that these are replacements, not skybox objects. That means they change the sky everywhere immediately – as long as it’s not covered by a solid skybox.

If you have Seasons, any newer expansion pack, or Mansion and Garden Stuff installed, I highly recommend using the SkyFix to be able to see the moon.

Conflicts

Do not use with other default replacements which change the same textures. For example, do not use Sky Nhd – 241 with my Lot Sky in Neighborhood, or Moon – Darker with my Full Moon.

realistic cas room lighting!

hi im back making incredibly niche cc that comes from a special place in my brain✨

this is a cas lighting mod made to match the cas room that a lot of ppl use. ones like this (mts) or this. its a bit moody and warm, but has a balance of pretty lighting and still suited for general sim making :-) obviously it can be used with any cas background! it was just made with the room ones in mind :)!

Chicken Salad Replacement Food for The Sims 2

Another salad default replacement, this time with chicken in it.

This is a 4to2 Conversion from Leosim, but the original file have too many polygons so I had to reduce it. Sorry if you will see some "white spot" on the salad but this is the best I could do.
