The After Prom
TAGGING:Â Sam Evans and Quinn Fabray
LOCATION:Â The Hotel after prom
TIME:Â May 10, 2013
NOTES:Â Just because prom is over doesn't mean that prom night has to end
Sam: In Sam's eyes, there couldn't have ever been a more perfect night than the one he was spending with Quinn. Prom had been great, even if both of them had been separated occasionally by their turns to perform. The after party was probably even better, with it being a little more intimate and with less interruptions, he and Quinn almost forgot there were other people in the room. When Quinn pulled him aside, Sam felt his lips twitch into a happy, dazed smile. "Sounds perfect," he said, taking her hand in his and wishing a goodnight to everyone. They headed out of the room and lounged outside of theirs. Sam leaned down and gave Quinn a quick kiss while he fiddled with the key in his pocket. "Tonight was amazing."
Quinn: After saying goodnight to everyone, Quinn followed Sam down the hall to their room and leaned against the wall by their door as he tried to unlock it. "I couldn't agree more," she told him as she kissed him back. As soon as they were both in the room, Quinn locked the door behind them and headed over to sit on the edge of the bed. As she slid off her heels, she smiled up at her boyfriend. "So, do you think your mom is going to make us pose for another prom photoshoot next weekend, or do you think she'll be content with a couple pictures since she took so many tonight?" She and Sam had been made to stand through at least a half an hour of pictures in various different poses around the house and in the yard with his whole family watching and fussing over them. But now it was just the two of them, and Quinn was thankful for the quiet, alone time.
Sam: When Quinn mentioned his mom and photos, Sam laughed and rolled his eyes fondly, too happy and fuzzy inside to really be annoyed. "We wish. She'll probably say that's a totally different thing, and your dress is gonna be different, and she'll want me to put on a decent tie or something. Don't count on it being the last photoshoot. She gets emotional," he said, sitting next to Quinn and sliding his own shoes off. "I wouldn't mind another photoshoot, though. We make a pretty hot couple if you ask me," Sam said, smiling brightly.
Quinn: "Well, I guess that won't be too bad," she replied as she leaned over to kiss his lips. "I'm pretty positive that we were the most attractive couple at the prom, and that's probably going to be the case next week." Before they'd actually gone to the prom, they'd dropped their overnight bags off in their room, so they wouldn't have to go outside to get their things after the dance was over. She leaned over and grabbed her bag from the floor by the bed. While she loved dressing up and feeling like a princess as Stacey had put it, she was ready to get out of her dress and jewelry and slip into her pajamas. She wasn't nervous about Sam seeing her in her nighties anymore. There had been many nights where the two would put on their pajamas and fall asleep watching TV on the couch together. They were used to being that close after she'd essentially moved in with him and his family. What made her nervous was the fact that this was the first time that they'd truly be alone together instead of in Sam's makeshift bedroom with curtains instead of a door. Nobody would be able to barge in on them unannounced, and there was a possibility that their heated make out sessions would turn into something more that night. "Can you unzip me?" she asked as she turned her back to Sam and started taking off her earrings.
Sam: Sam kissed Quinn back, keeping it short and sweet. "Nah, could be worse. The kids make it fun," he said. "Totally. Kurt and Blaine got nothin' on us." When he saw Quinn lean over to get her pajamas, he smiled and leaned over to his side of the bed to get his, taking off his jacket quickly and getting a few buttons on his shirt undone. He was mostly glad they were getting more comfortable, because even though it hadn't been long, he really wanted to just kiss and cuddle Quinn. He turned around, shirt half unbuttoned and licked his lips when Quinn asked him to unzip her. He scooted closer to her and dragged the zipper down slowly, staring at the curve of her neck. So delicate and perfect, he couldn't resist pressing his mouth against it, one of his hands wrapping around her waist while the other unzipped her very slowly, and part of him wondered if he'd need the condoms his dad had handed to him in private before they left.
Quinn: Quinn smiled softly when she felt Sam's lips press against her neck. There was some indescribably perfect about his kisses and how they made her feel. She never wanted to leave his arms, but she had to slip out of his grip for a moment to get changed. Holding her dress up over her chest, she stood up and turned around to lean over and kiss Sam again before grabbing her nightie and heading over to the desk in the room. She needed something to set the bobby pins in her hair on once she started pulling them out. With her back to Sam, she let her dress fall to the floor, and she slipped her nightie on over her head and over the lacy, strapless bra and matching underwear she'd bought especially for prom. She'd been thinking about that night a lot lately. While she had been sure that she wanted to wait until marriage to have sex again, she and Sam were in a committed relationship, and she knew that she never wanted to be with anyone other than him ever again. So she had been thinking that this private time they'd have in their hotel room might be the right time for them to take the next step. As she pulled the bobby pins from her hair and slowly undid her bun, she wondered if Sam was feeling the same way as she was.
Sam: It seemed like it didn't matter how many times Quinn kissed Sam, it always sparked something inside of him, something he loved. He looked at her as she walked away to deal with her hair, and finsihed undoing the buttons on his shirt. Sam found himself frozen, staring intently when Quinn slid off her dress, his shirt still half on. He was shaken off his thoughts when she pulled on her pajamas, and he took off his shirt off completely, smiling as he watched her work on her hair. He stood up and walked up to her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. "You're beautiful."
Quinn: Quinn was taking off her earrings when Sam kissed her cheek and called her beautiful, and a warm blush started to grace her cheeks. Never leaving his arms, she turned around to face him and wrapped her arms around his neck. "You make me feel beautiful," she told him before standing on her tiptoes to kiss him again. She'd been playing this moment over and over again in her mind imagining what it would be like when they finally had some alone time, but this was even more perfect than she'd ever imagined. She found her fingers twisting in the short hairs on the back if his neck waiting for him to make the first move.
Sam: Sam smiled, pulling Quinn closer to him. "Good," he said, leaning down to kiss her back, but this time he deepened it, feeling her pajamas rub against his bare chest and arms. Sam shifted his hands to cup Quinn's face and he pulled away slightly, an amused smile on his face, before he scooped her up in his arms and sat her down on the bed, laughing quietly before joining their lips again, one of his hand supporting his weight on the bed, and the other resting on her waist.
Quinn: Quinn giggled as Sam scooped her up in his arms and carried her over to the bed. He was still half-dressed in his prom tux, but she could tell that he was just as eager as she was for more than a few quick kisses. When he sat her down on the bed, she instantly leaned back on the pillows and pulled him down with her never breaking the kiss once. Having him leaning over her and holding her like that just felt right. It was something that she'd been waiting for for longer than she could remember. All she knew was that she wanted to be with him, and she didn't want to wait until she was married for that to happen.
Sam: Sam wasn't sure if there were really doing this. Somehow, he couldn't believe it. Aside from the first time they dated, he never thought he'd sleep with Quinn. She had rules and standards and he was okay with that, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't excited. They were usually interrupted at this point, seeing as his parents had quite the sharp ear for when they started getting too quiet for too long, so his heart pounded in his chest with both excitement and nerves, and he wondered if he should just ask her about this... Sam was content with deepening the kiss, effectively clouding all previous judgement, and he decided that maybe she was into this as much as he was. But maybe not. He broke the kiss, keeping his face close to hers. "Are you... are we?"
Quinn: When Sam broke the kiss, Quinn glanced up at him through her eyelashes. She knew what he was asking even if he didn't say it in so many words. And she almost didn't know how to answer him. She wanted to give herself to him entirely, and she knew that she only wanted to be with him, but she was still afraid. She didn't want taking a new step in their relationship to ruin what they had when he was quite honestly the best thing in her life. But she loved him, she felt like she was ready to do this, and she knew that they wouldn't have a chance to be intimate like this for God knows how long if they didn't take advantage of their night at the hotel. "I want to," she told him. "Do you?"
Sam: Before Sam could even think about what Quinn had just said, there was a smile tugging at his lips and he leaned down to give her another peck. "Yeah, I do," he said, feeling so sure and so in love now that he had confirmed that she wanted it too. "You sure?" he asked, raising an eyebrow slightly, but still feeling almost dizzy with excitement. "I got protection," he added, seemingly randomly, as he thought about why Quinn might not want this at all. "And I love you." It was so true, it almost hurt. Sam might've had sex before, but it was never out of love and this time had to prove different, because it was Quinn and she was the one. He was sure.
Quinn: Quinn smiled as Sam answered her and kissed her lips. "I am," she told him. "I don't care if we aren't married. I know I wanted that before, but this is it for me. I know that you're the only person I'm ever going to want to be with for the rest of my life, so waiting isn't important to me anymore. As long as I'm with you, I don't care." The fact that Sam had brought protection just in case made her somewhat thankful. Unlike Puck, he was taking safety precautions for her, and this would be good for them. "I love you, too." This would be her first time with the person she loved more than anything. It would be special, and she knew it was something that she'd remember for the rest of her life.
Sam: Almost overwhelmed by everything Sam was feeling, he was so at a loss for words he leaned down and gave her a longer, deeper kiss than before, hoping that it would get the message he was trying to convey across, pulling away only for air. "Okay," he said, breathless, and pressed a kiss to her cheek. He fumbled around until he found the condoms and set them aside, laughing in all of his excitement. "Best. Prom. Ever."

Quinn: When they were finished, Quinn snuggled up next to Sam in bed. She almost couldn't believe what they'd just done because she'd been so sure about waiting before, but she'd enjoyed it more than she could possibly express in words. And honestly, in some ways, she and Sam were like a married couple anyway. They lived in the same house, and even though they technically had separate rooms, most nights they fell asleep while talking and watching TV in the living room or Sam's makeshift bedroom. Quinn cooked for Sam or picked up take out for him when she knew that he was working too late to eat dinner with the rest of the family, and he gave her little shoulder rubs and kisses whenever she got too stressed out to move. They cared about each other more than anything, and that was all Quinn really wanted: someone who cared. "You're amazing," Quinn whispered as she leaned over and gave Sam a quick kiss.
Sam: When Quinn snuggled up next to him, Sam tried to hold her as close as he could and pressed a kiss to her hair, already sleepy and almost high on bliss. There weren't so many thoughts in his mind aside from 'Quinn'. He sighed, feeling his eyes begin to close and gave a warm laugh. "Not as amazing as you," he said, cracking an eye open to smile into the kiss.
Quinn: Quinn let her arm drape across Sam's chest as he pulled her closer. She loved him and everything that they'd just done. It had been awkward at first, but it all felt so right. Having him beside her was the only right thing in the world. With her head resting in the crook of his neck, she cuddled him close and tried to make sure he understood how much she loved him with her embrace. "I love you so much," she whispered as she tilted her head to kiss his cheek.
Sam: Sam smiled and got more comfortable, loving the idea of falling asleep with the girl he loved in his arms. "I love you too," he said, holding back a yawn. "So much it's crazy." Sam let both of his eyes flutter shut and the smile rest on his lips. "So much," he repeated.
