Indefinite Haitus soon?

//well I’m not sure what to say. I haven’t had this blog for long but this blog as many of my others were an attempt to get me back into Pokemon but as it stands that’s not helping. I just came back from a long break but it seems I need another one as Pokemon has just gone stale for me. I can’t keep a single muse anymore I’ve made more muses in the last few months then in the three years I’ve been RPING here. I can’t do it much longer. If I have no love for the games then I have no motivation for my muses and I make more. But if I’m being honest? It’s useless. I might leave the Pokemon rp community altogether. Don’t be surprised if I do.

To make such a claim in such an offhand way infuriated him more than if he had directly insulted Morty. He tightened his grip around the other man’s collar before interrogating him. “What do you mean you don’t deserve a second life? Do you think your life is just yours to play with?!” Morty misinterpreted the other one’s comment as an insult to Ho-Oh’s magnanimity. If Ho-Oh chose to grant a second life to a being, that would mean they served a purpose in the world. As far as Morty was concerned, anyone who throws their life away is disrespecting the benevolence of a God, and that is the greatest sin of all.

His fist met the wall. Accidentally missing his target wasn’t the issue so much as he just needed a way to diffuse his anger. As much as he was aware, no one else could have been watching. No one could have witnessed him at his weakest point. No one could have judged him, or call him out as an unworthy gym leader like they did before. There was no way Haunter could have been nearby either, but he still couldn’t do what they both expected he would. Perhaps he really was just weak. Perhaps Wes was right in insinuating that Ho-Oh would never recognize him as a worthy trainer, or even trust him as a mere messenger. After all, Morty couldn’t even punish someone who had insulted his God.

Frustrated in his inability to take hold of his resolve, he merely breathed a command. With the way his face contorted in pain, however, his final words could have also been interpreted as a request.

“Get out.”

Wes stared a bit as the man in front of him shook and trembled in anger. Of course Wes was never good or willing to express his emotions having learned it was a lot easier to just bottle everything up and take his frustration out on someone else. But the display in front of him was oh so sad and pathetic. Wes could do nothing but let out a soft sigh as he was yelled at. He didn’t even offer anything in response watching what the other would do. He was waiting for it. A punch to his jaw for insulting his god.

Though the blow never came. He heard it right next to his ear though he didn’t flinch nor did he make a move back. He just looked at Morty trying to figure him out. “Let me clarify. I don’t believe my life is mine to play with. Nor do I hate it or myself. I do believe in a higher power. Your god as you claim it to be has blessed me with an amazing life. But I have made many bad decisions that have hurt a lot of people. Though I’ve spent years correcting it. I don’t hate this life. But I don’t want a second one. I don’t want to hurt anyone anymore. And I know if I was granted a second life I’d make the same mistakes that I did then.”

 Wes looked away a bit sadly. “I don’t feel worthy to be blessed again with a second life. But I’m happy with the changes I’ve made to it. You’re trying so hard to get noticed by your god... I envy you. At least you have something to strive for.” To mention now that he had seen and met Ho-Oh would be a cruel stab to a wound for the gym leader. He’d keep it to himself, but maybe some insight to his life would help the other understand.
