My stepdad
Well, ex-stepdad (we are really close) just gave me $100 for diaper covers!! So Cody and I are going to Bohemian Baby tomorrow!! Woot woot!!
About me!
I've gotten quite a bit of new followers lately. So I figured I would introduce myself a bit. My name is Emma Grace. I'm 18 years old. I have an almost two month old son named Grayson. His father, Cody, and I just got engaged. We live in TN, but we are from NC. Uh... I have a fitness blog (mostly yoga, I used to do it an hour a day, but stopped when I was pregnant and am picking it back up again). So follow that if you want! URL: EMMAGETSFITT Most of you guys are moms, so here are some of the things I believe in/blog about/do with Grayson/plan to do. •Babywearing •Baby Led Weaning (no solids before 6months) •Breastfeeding - extended breadfeeding •Cloth diapering (just started!) •Cobathing •Cosleeping •Csection birth •Extended Rear-Facing If there's anything else you want to know! Just ask, anon is always on!

What you win: -1 Bumgenius One size 4.0 pocket diaper, of your choice (Albert or Lovelace)
Ughhhhhh I want theeessseeee!
finished my first diaper with an insert! Size preemie to 3 months(+) Liners snap in like grovia, and have elastic like grovia, but they are tube shaped so you can stuff the liner itself like a pocket. So its a way of customizing how much absorbency i need without sacrificing a shell every change. Yes the elastic in the back is a little crooked but this is awesome for a first go at it lol
ITS SO TINY!!! <3 hahahaa
Topic For Today: Vaginal delivery or c-section?
Some women have a choice, others have that decision made for them. Sadly I HAD to have an emergency c-section. But for those of you who DID have a choice, what did you decide and why?
I was supposed to be induced and just decided to go ahead and have a csection. My cervix was still high and closed and I knew I would likely be having a csection anyway. I didn’t want to be induced and then the contractions be crazy painful and then get an epidural, and then that would slow down labor and I’d need more pitocin. I didn’t want to put my baby in distress. When I went in to have my csection, they hooked me up to the machine and I was having regular contractions. I asked them to check me and if I was dilated any, I was just going to try and do it naturally. But I wasn’t dilated at all, so we went along with the csection.
I’m so glad I made the decision that I did. The procedure went awesome. I could completely enjoy everything without the distraction of pain. I healed really easily, my scar is not dark and pretty small. I was up walking/showering/etc the next day (and I had him in the evening). I’m honestly glad that I didn’t have to go through the screaming, pushing, and agony. It was very peaceful and I felt like I enjoyed Grayson’s birth a lot more than if I had him vaginally.
A 14 year-old boy was recently raped at knife-point by a 20 year-old woman. When the story broke, it was primarily men who claimed he should have enjoyed it. It was feminists who validated his pain and spoke in support of him. This is why we need feminism.

I miss the way Cody used to treat me
I'm tired of being cussed at. I'm tired of being told all the things that are my fault. I'm tired of all the huffs and puffs when he is cleaning or taking care of Grayson.

My mom just told me you’re not a woman until you get blood on nearly every pair of pants you love. I was like, “what if you don’t have periods?” And she said “I didn’t say it had to be your own.”
Your feelings are valid.
Even though we think abortion is wrong, that doesn’t mean we don’t want to help those who have had abortions cope.
I have a heart condition and fell pregnant. If I had kept the baby I would have died, tell me I'm wrong to have had an abortion.
Direct, induced abortion is always murder. Period. End of story.
If the mother wants to work on her career instead of having a baby, abortion is murder. If the baby has a genetic deformity, abortion is murder. If the mother was raped, abortion is murder. If it’s a high-risk pregnancy, abortion is murder.
how dumb is it that we’ve created words we arent supposed to use
