Morning, Sunshine -Closed-
Sam wasn’t just a notch. Sam was more than surface feelings. Always. But he couldn’t claim he loved him. Dean couldn’t love. Not like this .
The blade caught his eye and his body tensed. Just the thought of coppery warmth flooding his mouth, thick sweetness sliding down his throat and through his veins- Chills went down his spine. He wanted to cut and drink until he was on fire. Until Sam was all through his being.
He curled his fingers until the nails bit into his palms.
"No- You do it." He couldn’t. He might go too far. Might hurt Sam.
What if he really harmed him?
With a focused flick the lamp flickered on, bathing them both in burnt orange.
Sam wasn’t expecting the sudden light, making a face at the change but.. At least he could now see Dean again. See his face and his eyes, black as they might be. He puffed out a half smile and nodded. “Sure…” Keeping the knife, he cut his forearm for Dean, setting the object aside before offering the limb to the demon. “..Drink, Dean.”
He saw the blood before the scent caught him. It made the hair on his neck stand up. Made a shudder run down his spine. It was always just- so- good. As soon as Sam’s arm was in front of him, Dean was lapping at the spilled blood. It made him feel warm. Like he had always been cold, and never noticed until the taste of his brother was in his mouth. Fingertips pressed into Sam’s arm, pulling him closer. He closed his eyes tight- He didn’t need Sam seeing him like this… It felt so good…He never wanted this to stop. But after a few small mouthfuls, he managed to slow. To let Sam go- To stop sucking. He kissed at the wound in apology, fingers running over muscle to soothe. Kisses replaced the hungry drinking, gentle licks instead of the sucking. Until when he opened his eyes they were moss green again, and the cut had closed.
Sam closed his eyes, too, shuddering and letting Dean drink. Letting a warmth of a different kind fill him up, a quiet hum there in his throat while his free hand pet through his brother's hair in reassurance. It was okay. He wasn't judging his drinking. He could drink, it was okay...
"Thank you," he murmured, a subtle hint of huskiness there to his voice in the end, swallowing hard as he opened his eyes to look and see his brother pepper kisses around the cut. "..We'll be okay, Dee. I promise." They'd figure it out. And to seal that promise? Yeah, Sam gently tugged him up for a soft kiss. One he himself initiated. Something to let Dean know that he wasn't trying in vain.
