ok in my head he’s from the south. im from georgia and i say so.
he had a long time girlfriend in high school and college and everyone was convinced they would get married, but they broke up on good terms when he joined the marines. her name was aaliyah and she was a cheerleader in high school. they were both super popular but they were popular because they were actually just super nice and fun.
he likes stardew valley. he’s a gamer, sure, but stardew is his guilty pleasure. he romances shane to fix him. he is a straight man.
he’s TOUCHY. not in a creepy way, but in the sense that he’s just a jolly dude and if he’s excited he’ll give someone a big ol bear hug. he’s a great hugger too.

Soap and gaz being forced to do ad campaigns for the army every year because they're not high enough ranked to say no, and they're well experienced enough to know what they're doing and to be put through the courses as many times as they are needed, and neither of them openly put up complaints so they're the obvious first choice
It does mean that the following days they're both near immobile with pain from pushing themselves/ being urged to push themselves so hard. Those days are always rough for both of them. Neither likes feeling useless. Though Ghost and Price never complain about helping them recover. And they never mention the light duties price gives them the following week either
