The best DC Comics runs, series, and graphic novels from various eras
Unfortunately, I did not read all of these comics, so these are not solely my personal recommendations. Instead, I went to dozens of websites where people talked about their favorite DC runs and storylines and manually counted each time a specific title was mentioned. (No, seriously. It took me weeks of painstaking work.)
Using the same data, I compiled an extensive best-of list, ranked by overall popularity (i.e. the number of mentions in my sources). It lacks the division into decades, but has links to the DC Database and Goodreads for each title.
Out this week: Creepshow Vol.2 #1 (Skybound, $3.99): The horror anthology Creepshow returns to comics for a second miniseries from Skybound, featuring stories by Garth Ennis, Phil Hester, Becky Cloonan and more.
