"It wasn’t that bad."
Oh, but it had been. In the time that it had taken to leave the classroom and right now, Yoshiki had picked the skin and muscle from Ayumi’s slender frame. She had been satisfying, and yet he found his eyes sliding over to Seiko, roaming her physique.
"Where was the last time you saw her?"
"We were at the Infirmary together when I thought I heard someone and went to check. When I came back, she was gone."
Seiko said sadly, internally kicking herself at her irresponsible actions that caused her to lose track of her best friend. She glanced over at the male noticing his gaze, making her slightly uncomfortable.
"Are you okay, Kishinuma-kun?"

"No. I’ve been alone."
What a lie. Ayumi had been with him just hours ago, but now she was a horrib sight to behold; a perfectly placed doll in a horror such as this school. Licking his lips, Yoshiki gave a shrug.
"We can try and look for her. Let’s go."
"O-Okay."
She looked at their surroundings before deciding to walk down an empty hallway beside him. The school was like a maze, Seiko feared she may never see Naomi again. She mentally shook her head, no she mustn't think like that.
"I'm sorry you've been alone down here Kishinuma-kun. It must've been horrible."
"Not particularly."
Her voice was a monotone, no indication of any sort of emotion was on her features. Sachiko could play the innocence card, but she figured that this could be more interesting.
Seiko didn't like the situation one bit. The way the girl answered her wasn't comforting and only made Seiko more uneasy. If she wasn't lost, she could be one of the spirits, possibly.
Seiko took one step back in a cautious manner. "W-Who are you..?"
"—Shinohara-san?"
Yoshiki had honestly thought he was the last one alive in this awful place. Turning his head and allowing his hands to fall at his sides, the male shook his head.
"No. I thought she was with you. Did you two get separated?"
"I can't find her anywhere. We were trying to find the others."
Seiko frowned, her mood dropping even more now. She felt guilt weighing down on her. She should've been more responsible and now her friend was missing. At least she wasn't alone anymore.
"Was anyone with you?"
