My respect for Vampire Chronicle Fanfic writers has gone down right down the drain after reading such degrading and disrespectful comments about Anne Rice. You’re forgetting that she was the main reason you starting writing fanfic about her characters. Instead of taking into consideration that she disliked fan fiction and verbally announced it you spat the dummy and started calling her all sorts of degrading names and I find it quite disgusting. The woman might have had flaws but at least she was honest. Nobody’s perfect, I’m sure you’ve said and done things that have made people angry but don’t disrespect her memory in this way.
It’s bad enough that an amazing writer has passed away but she leaves behind a son who is mourning. Do you think he needs to see all these hate posts after Anne Rice a mother who he lost in this disrespectful manner? No he doesn’t just because you didn’t like her keep your nasty thoughts to yourself. Anne always respected what I had to say, not once was she nasty about the questions I asked or answers I’d given in fact she was quite lovely. I’m sorry that you had a bad experience with her but I have zero respect for your fanfic. You’re not doing it for the love of Anne Rices characters you’re writing them out of spite you know I’m right. Now for the fanfic writers who are mourning her passing and not spreading nasty salty comments you I have respect for so keep on writing.
And just an FYI over the years she accepted and even started embracing people’s fanfic so get off your high horse and start acting like a human being who has lost one of the best writers of our time. SHOW SOME RESPECT
