🌙 Altar🌙

First of all, don’t let anyone tell you what your altar should look like, this is a personal thing and it’s your reflection.

Your altar it’s going to depend on what are your beliefs, a pagan altar is going to be slightly different of a wiccan or eclectic altar.

Things that you should have.

Representation of Fire (candle, atame,etc)

Representation of Earth (sea salt,herbs,etc)

Representation of air (leafs, incense holder,etc)

Representation of water (a recipient to hold your water,sea shells,etc)

Energetic stones

A cauldron (or anything where you can put burning stuff when you perform any spell where you need to burn something)

If you are a wiccan or a witch that believes in gods, you want to have a representation of the goddes and the god or whatever you believe in. You can also use a offering bowl for the offerings you are going to give the gods when you perform a spell or a ritual.

You can also put under your elements an altar cloth, to protect your space and bind all your elements together.

Layout

North: Earth

South: Fire

East: Air

West: Water

This is a basic layout, but feel free to put your elements in the altar how you feel conected with it, that is the most important thing.

Closet witches

If you are a closet witch like me (you are afraid to tell your relatives and family about your beliefs), i recomend to make your altar simpler, so you can take it down or put it back when you want/need.
