L'oreal Go 360 Clean facewash. I needed to buy facewash. I have oily skin, but not so oily that I want blemish controllers. So I thought I would give this a try since it's for sensitive skin.
Besides the nice packaging, it comes with the little scrubby and it's own holder built into the bottle. The scrubby is very flexible (maybe silicone?) and has a suction cup back, in addition to it's own holder built into the bottle (traveling convenience comes to mind). The scrubby has little nodules over it that are nice and give a "massage" kind of feel. I like it! It took a little bit to get used to holding it, but that is the most complaint I'll have for that.
The facewash does not contain soap (I've associated soap with stripping the skin) but is a nice creamy "wash." It left my face feeling clean, but not dry and not slippery with residue. I continued to put on my oil-free lotion and the combination appears to be working for my skin! They offered other facewash options including exfoliating, acne-prone, and pore reduce. I may try the pore reducer next time. (It's so tough to be a girl!)
In a nutshell: I liked it, I would buy it again!

Hard Rock is not just a cafe anymore! This casino and hotel is modern and loud! It has some high tech equipment, including electronic craps and roulette and several options of food, including the cafe, sushi bar, a buffet with several ethnic foods varieties (American ethnic, not authentic), and a vietnamese? restaurant. Everything was clean and there were servers and drink girls everywhere. Smoking was allowed in the main casino, but i heard there is a non smoking room for those who don't want to be around it. I was lucky and got a paying slot machine (a penny slot)... But still managed to walk away with only 87 cents! Dinner was good at the cafe, but a little pricey. I'd say it was what expected to pay in a place like that. The server was charming and very quick to respond when we needed something. Though we didn't get to see it, there was a band seeing up at the stage in the front. I'd definitely go there again! Just checked out New Year's Eve... They're already booked solid! Tips: We went on a Friday around 530 and it wasn't too crowded. By the time we left around 9, I started seeing a lot more people coming in. I'm guessing that Thursdays are the best night if you don't like crowds because noticed the room pricws are cheapest on that day. Sign up for their rewards card and membership card to get free stuff in addition to comps! My mom gets "free play" where they put money on her card to gamble with just about every week! Visiting Busch Gardens is always a good time for everyone. Here are some things I've gathered after the few times I've gone.
1. Buy your tickets online! It saves a good hour in line.
2. Look for their deals. This year (2014) they have the "fun pass." Pay for one day and you can come back as many times as you like through the rest of the calendar year! If you are a Florida resident, they have the passport that allows you to buy a year pass (with discount perks) and pay for it in monthly installments!
3. They have 2 lines to get in. One is the "express lane" for those without bags.
4. The annual passport (I'm paying 13 bucks a month for it!) gets you discounts throughout the park, discounted premium parking (closer to the gate) or FREE general parking, unlimited visits throughout a 12 month period, discounts to other parks (including Discovery Cove, which I hope to visit next summer).
5. Summer is HOT! There is lots of shade throughout the park, and several great shows that happen inside an air conditioned building. Best bet is to go early, leave for lunch, come back later. They also have people with water sprayers running around to mist the guests.
6. I found out this weekend that they sometimes have unadvertised specials (or maybe I just didn't see them!) like BOGO beer :-) Always ask!
7. Birthday bash made easy! Living in Florida, many people have fun passes or annual passes. So this year, I took my son and a bunch of his friends their to celebrate. There were a couple of them who did not have tickets. Well, it turns out that with the annual pass, you can buy one day tickets for up to 6 people to join you...and it's at a ridiculous discount for $45 each!
7. Drinks for $1! If you buy the reuseable cup, you can refill it for a $1! You can also bring it back on your next visit!
8. Shows. While the kids are out doing the dumb things like rollercoasters (I don't know why someone would do that to themselves!) I was able to enjoy the park as an adult :-) (Yay, me!) The Iceploration show was very interesting. It was an ice skating show with great costumes and sets where they took you to the sahara, the rainforest, and even underwater (my favorite part).
My favorite was the "Opening Night Critters." It's a stage play with animals and actors. LOVED IT! I thought they did a great job, and I know those animals are loved :-)
9. If you don't like crowds and long lines, school days are the best. Weekends and school holidays are the busiest.
I am glad to say that I have made use of our annual passport by taking advantage of the perks that go with it and made it worth it with one birthday celebration!

I have a follower!
Yay, me! If you would wonder why I am going to continue to do this with only 1 follower...because I do a lot of research before I buy. Maybe someone can get some good info as a result of my reviews!
5 posts! Only 4 reviews? I better get on it!
Younique 3D Mascara...Love it! Falsies in a tube. The bottom picture shows my left eye with my "other" mascara and my right eye with with one coat of the Younique 3D mascara. Big difference already! The top picture is with 2 coats of the 3D. I believe this product delivers! I was not blessed with long or thick lashes. I NEED something!
I like that I won't have to fumble with cutting down the fake lashes, finding them, getting glue all over the place, or having them fall off because I didn't wait long enough for the glue to set. The kit comes with two tubes. One tube is the transplanting gel, the other is the fibers. Very easy to use. Step 1: apply a coat of your favorite mascara. Step 2: apply a coat of the transplanting gel. Step 3: apply the fibers. Step 4: apply a second coat of the transplanting gel to set the fibers.
I've been wearing this all day and haven't noticed them flake or rub off. I just saw something somewhere saying they were waterproof? I'll have to test that out...but I usually run into a problem with my mascara running during the day. I have not experienced that yet. I have decided to add this to my "buy again" list. A++ in my book.
Tips: I bought a brow and lash brush/comb. If you feel it's too clumpy (I didn't have that problem, but I saw comments in other reviews), use the comb. (I like the ones with the metal teeth (I also got that from Younique)).

My son and I went to check this out yesterday. I liked it! Witty, sarcastic, action packed, likeable characters, and even some heart-tugging moments. I felt the first few moments could have been developed a little better to set the tone for the main character, but as entertainment value goes, I would see it again...when it came out on Netflix or Hulu. I'd say this movie was aptly rated at PG-13, but can see a 7 year old enjoying it with their parent's permission. We watched it on a regular screen and not IMAX or 3D, but can see that it would have had an elevated WOW factor as such.
Haven't been to the movies in a while...Going to have to go more often!
I took my son and mom to Red Lobster for dinner a couple of days ago. It wasn't too busy, everything looked clean. The waitress was very friendly, but it seemed like she might have been a little overwhelmed...but she made a point to come and check on us to see if we needed anything. We ordered the calamari and vegetables as an appetizer. My son really enjoyed it, but they definitely make up their margin by maximizing the plate with vegetables. I ordered the blue cheese sirloin and it came with 3 sides (I chose a salad, mashed potatoes, and asparagus). I really enjoyed the flavor, however, the cut of meat was definitely not worth the price. My mom ordered the stuffed flounder with pilaf and green beans. I tried it and liked it! My son got the seafood trio with 2 types of shrimp and one other seafood that I can't remember. He enjoyed it and there was enough that we brought leftovers home.
Overall, it was a decent meal, enough food, and good service. With a bill that topped $70 for 3 people, I'm not sure I would say it is worth the price, though :-( What might make it worth it? I would say better seasoning (everything was on the saltier side), a steak cooked to my specification (I asked for medium and ended up with barely medium rare) and more comfortable seating.
P.S. The picture is not of the Red Lobster I went to.
Influenster sent me Pedigree Stackerz dog treats to test and review. My dog saw the bag and knew they were treats instantly. She is a very obedient girl, most days, and will do anything for a treat. Today, she seemed to have a hard time with "leave it", as you may be able to tell by the way she is inching her way toward her treat. Maybe it was because it was a new treat? In any case, this treat is like two in one. One side is bacon, the other side is beef. It's a longer piece, but they put notches to make it easier to break into smaller pieces. As she is a smaller dog, I only gave her one section of the 3 section piece. If you look at the feeding guide on the back of the bag, a dog my size (15lbs) should have 3-6 treats a week. This is clearly a treat and not to be used for training or even daily reward. I checked out the ingredients and the first on the list is beef, which I liked...but it was followed by various flours, starches, and other ingredients I couldn't pronounce, as well as lots of artificial colors. (I could never understand why that is necessary in a dog treat.) Bacon fat is the 14th ingredient on the list, though the bacon "flavor" side is 1/2 the treat. I counted 42 ingredients to make this treat that was so irresistible to my furry friend! While she gave it 4 paws up, she probably will not get to enjoy more than this one bag. If you are not a label reader, I'm certain your pooch will love it! www.pedigree.com
