The  archeress  had  long  been  scouting  this  stream  for  about  a  week,  now,  traveling  far  and  wide  to  capture  but  a  glimpse  of  The  Loch  Ness  Monster.  She  wouldn't  shoot  an  arrow  through  it's  skull,  nor  would  she  tell  her  father  of  her  discovery,  as  his  men  were  well-known  hunters  of  beasts.  No,  she  only  wished  for  but  a  second  of  a  mere  sight.  She'd  heard  many  a  tale  of  all  the  creatures  of  the  wild,  wild  woods,  but  Nessie  was  one  she  favored  the  most.  One  could  only  imagine  her  shock  when  she  came  'pon  the  sight  of  what  was  in  fact  NOT  Nessie,  yet  a  woman  with  a  fish's  tail.  The  flame-haired  bearchild  blinked  slowly,  puzzled  beyond  belief.  ❛  Oh,  mitchy  me...  What  is  this  ?  Who...  What  are  you  ?  ❜

The only reaction that seems fit is to jump off the rock, returning to the murky water below them. It's cold and unwelcoming, something she is quite used to feeling in her home under the sea. She swishes her tail back forth, trying to come up with something to do. Should she respond? Run away? If her father knew what she was doing- oh, she'd be done for! Then again... she had never truly met a human... this could be a good opportunity right?

Sure.

Convincing herself it was for more than her own thrill and curiosity, she slowly peaks her head above the water. First her eyes, then her nose, and finally comes her mouth, smiling with an unexpected excitement.

"You're a human!" she blurts out, completely ignoring the girls question.

she swishes her tail and pushes herself a little further out, now exposed down to her shoulder tips.

"wishes?" she repeats playfully.

"well... technically. my father can use his trident for a lot of things. what kind of wishes do you mean?"
