Akira thinks for a moment. "Okay, so the circumstances that actually brought us here are a bit unbelievable, but also accidental. A..... malfunction of something we were using, which now is broken thanks to an unlucky shot from your synths. I'm not....mad, but maybe you can take a look at it and we can explain somewhere less out in the open?"
"We can get that fixed by Dr. Li, you can talk to her later after I give you an official introduction. As I said, the institute is not what most people in the commonwealth believe," Father says with a nod.
"I mean-me and my boyfriend aren't from the commonwealth. So I guess you get a better chance at first impressions huh?"
"Yes," Father smiles, "And you can spread our message there to the people who still doubt us and believe we are their 'boogeyman'."
Keith grits his teeth slightly, but keeps calm.
"That's more complicated than you think, but we can visit that later." He moves to grab Leo's hand and give it a soft squeeze. They'll be fine.
Lance grips his hand tightly, something didn’t sit right with him... this place, it reminded him way too much of WICKED. He’d talk to him about it later.
