Hi hello. I know I haven’t been around, and I apologize for that. I’ve kinda been iffy with my portrayal of Iris, mostly because it’s all based on the show and not the comics because I haven’t actually read the comics???? I know it probably shouldn’t matter and that everybody plays her in their unique way and everything, but. Y’know. Insecurities and anxiety and also being really sick and just yeah.

But I’m trying to work on bringing Iris back sometime soon. If not in the next week or so, then at least by the time season 2 comes out for the Flash.

So yeah. I’ll be here when I’m here. Thank you to those who have stuck with me through my random-ass hiatuses.

( he wasn’t lying, he did hate keeping secrets from her, but keeping this one from her killed him. he couldn’t think of anything that could make him feel worse than lying blatantly to her face about all this )

He was her BEST FRIEND. Keeping something this big from someone’s best friend seemed like a breach of the trust formed over years of their friendship bond. While it did kill her to know he’d lied, part of her knew he did what he did for a reason---- no matter how much she may have disliked it.

         “I know you did, Barry. Doesn’t make it hurt any LESS, though.”

She should have known it would have been a big list of people--- she wasn’t angry at him for being the Flash, she was merely...disappointed that he would think those things. A small sigh slipped from her nose before she could work up a response.
