hi, all! i'm lou and it's been,,, quite a while since i've joined a group tbh so forgive me if i'm rusty. this is my boy ronan and i'm very excited to write him and to write with you all <3 i'll have some bits and bobs of info below and yeah i hope you enjoy my lil trash baby boy
so, ronan was born and raised in LA to two doctors: his dad is a pretty famous plastic surgeon, and his mom is a psychiatrist to a lot of celebrities. he also has a younger sister who is currently in europe with his mom.
anyway he had a pretty basic rich white boy childhood: he went to a private school, went to the hottest parties on the weekend, drove the nicest car. and he did well academically and was athletic too so like,,, golden child™ vibes.
then his parents' divorce happened, and that was when things really changed for him and his sister. it wasn't like he was surprised by it, he knew about his dad's affair because their mom didn't keep it from them. but it was the events that took place after the divorce was finalized that really changed everything, and if you ask him, he'd say things changed for the worse. he was fifteen then, and while at first he pretended like it didn't bother him, the constant back and forth of him and his sister between his mom and his dad got to him. but then, when his mom decided to leave the country and take his sister with her (and not him), well, that was when things went south for ronan.
he really just went from this easy-going, happy-go-lucky kind of guy to a nonchalant, sarcastic person. he blames his dad for what happened and is kind of secretly angry with his mom for taking his sister with her but not him (secretly because whenever he spends the holidays with her, he tries to play it off as if it doesn't bother him). his relationship with his sister kind of became rocky too. she used to try to keep their closeness, but he was too angry with her to reciprocate, and she eventually stopped trying.
so he's currently in his sophomore year, doing pre-med, and he doesn't even know why, really. he's not out here trying to be like his parents, that's for sure, but he also kind of thinks that that's what he knows, and he's always liked sticking to what he knows.
personality wise, he's very blasé about everything that happens to him. he's kind of self-centered and insensitive, but he's also like the person to call for a good time lmao. definitely not good at relationships because he thinks they're a waste of time, but that doesn't mean he doesn't get in them lmao.
