YOU KNOW , you would think that as a old god , thor would already be used to how small misgardians truly are . after all , he did have centuries of experiences with them ! but , even then he had to applaud them — they did quite grow in the past few centuries , that much is true ! there was even one particular hero now taller than him ; how marvelous !

so , all of that to say that had he not been a god , the blonde would have neck problems by now . once he is done speaking with one of his teammates , blue eyes look to the side ; only to meet green even if for just a few seconds , and even though he knows the other can't see him now , he gives him a smile .

HAD YOU told this scientist years prior that he would have to deal with things like this . . . he would have not believed in any of what you had just said . hell , he wouldn't even have believed you if you mentioned him being part of a group of super heroes . yet , here he was ; part of said group , that had as it's newest member a teenager that bruce ended up caring about as his own kid .

and maybe that's why their words hurt , gulping slightly as he looks at them . and he is quiet , isn't sure of what to say ; bruce does not wish to say something that would make nikko angrier , sadder — that was never his goal , at all . although he caused this , didn't he ?
