Static is dark skinned can we actually get a dark skinned guy to play him you know as dark as the two women in the post. Imagine if Storm or other dark skinned females were being imagined as light skinned. smh colorism got you messed up
Storm has already been cast light-skinned... twice and is continuously whitewashed in comics TILL THIS DAY! I don't need to imagine it lol its happened continuously since 1975 and black women have always been preferred lighter in mainstream media, so what point are you trying to make???
and you bringing up a black woman in comics as a reason to not lighten a character doesn't make sense given the fact that black men of darker complexion are more acceptable in film, television and mainstream media than black women of a darker complexion... so honestly and I'm not joking i don't see any reason why Static Shock cant be of a lighter complexion... yall had no issues trying to pitch for Superman to be a whole black man for absolutly no reason whatsoever so why can't Static Shock be a light skin dude???
i'm honestly passed that other post... im genuinely asking, why can't Static Shock be light skinned??? its not like dark skinned men and boys are lacking in representation and light skinned black men are still BLACK MEN... so...??? are yall saying light skinned men or biracial black men aren't black enough??? or that because darker skin is attributed to being more masculine that light skinned black men aren't man enough?? and if so, are black women always prefered and cast with a lighter skin tone because they are black but not black enough???

why do closed captions keep pretending english is the only intelligible language? when a character speaks spanish what exactly is forcing your hand to transcribe it as "[speaks foreign language]" rather than "Si"
