Day 5, “blade”. From Octopath Traveler, the Twin Blades of Hornburg. AKA Erhardt and Olberic, AKA sword husbands, AKA my best boys. Lotsa trauma but it’s gonna be okay.  I did a couple other warm-up sketches of them so I added those too! They’re really fun to draw

I wish I had stuff to post up here more often so i’m popping in with a quick fic rec.

You should really read Reconnection by Dragonlingdar on Ao3 it’s a lovely in progress post game Olberhardt fic about them growing closer again by exchanging letters. 

It also features some nice interactions between Olberic and the rest of the cast as well as a dash of mystery and political intrigue which gives it a taste of narrative tension. 

The characterization in this fic is wonderful, it really feels like the author got into the characters heads.
