*** I'm gonna be honest that second kanji is so blurry on this page that i can't tell for sure what it is. The first character is bamboo, which makes me think that this could possibly be a typo because bamboo ink (竹墨, takesumi) would be typed the same way as bamboo CHARCOAL (竹炭, takesumi), which is already an ingredient used in Wolfwood's themed drink and works in part as a black food coloring. So my best guess is that they meant there's also bamboo charcoal in the burger and that's why it's like. black. but I'm putting this under a special translator's note bc in case the second kanji is something else or even if it is a typo but bamboo ink is a real product, I don't want to then mistakenly promote it as something edible.

What's up chat sorry I haven't been posting I got a little too employed. But I am still deeply in love with Vash the Stampede and his space cowboy anime, which has just announced its first collab after switching from Stampede to Stargaze!! YAAYYYY!!! Rewrote pretty much the whole website again since it's live, translated all of the food and drink ingredients so you guys can try to make them for yourselves if you can't make it to the event and also just wrote out the merch list and special bonuses and stuff in english, and I also translated the special meanings behind the drinks they chose to serve!!!

So they'll be handing out these lunchmats to anyone who reserves online in advance (they are random but there's only two per half so) and the designs will change over at the halfway point with everything else.

They're running two campaigns this time, the first one is a twitter follow and repost campaign of which three random winners will receive a set of all 16 coasters, it doesn't really say anything else so I assume further details are on the chugai grace twitter itself if you'd like to try your luck! The second is another poster campaign, all these posters that will be decorating the Shibuya Modi cafe location will be given out to randomly chosen winners and you DO get to pick your fave! It's one raffle ticket per 3,000¥ spent and it says you'll have to apply by mail. It doesn't say if they'll be sending the application with any merch order or if you have to pick it up at the location when you check out physically, but I'm assuming the latter. But if anyone is going to be in Japan and planning to go in person, it's always worth a shot!

I've been doing this series every month since April 2022 despite the fact that there have been no leaks for over a year at this point. *so full disclosure i was super late starting on this and i did see this panel going around twitter from the manga plus translation where they also use love. the Japanese uses 好き "suki" which is a little bit tricky bc it can honestly be either, it isn't quite as cut and dry as Mika's confession. my first draft said "i always did fancy you" bc i think it has the same ambiguity as 好き altho i don't particularly like how it flows, but i upgraded it to "love" after taking the rest of the chapter and Urd's lines while turning into a demon into greater consideration while proofreading. basically, i think that since Urd was very obviously going to reciprocate before being cut off, and had this been Urd's line i WOULD have been pretty immediately comfortable translating it to "love," i decided in the end to carry that over for Saitou, but yeah full disclosure i did see the official manga plus translation of like just that page and i dont honestly know if i would've been brave enough to upgrade it if i hadn't sdflkjksk so happy pride month?
