Do you ship Alina and the Darkling? I can't tell from what you said. I think the story is more about Alina and I liked that. but it scares me too because I think really bad thing will happen to her before they get better. I thought the book was beautiful did you?

I actually did not ship them together though I do like the Darkling and Alina. I haven't read the second book yet but I like Alina by herself. I haven't seen anyone in the book whose relationship with her wasn't someone... warped.

I love the book! I keep recommending it to people but no one will read it. They say it sounds too dark. Lol.

P.S., I wish you weren't anon so I could directly replay to you. Lol. I don't know many ppl that like the book and like that it wasn't focused on romance. Lol.
