So I’ve seen a lot of people reminding us that eggs are technically protein and that’s not good for those doing the egg collecting, with the information in Pink’s dialogue post-fight.

That being said, I posted to my Instagram note “I just remembered eggs are protein” with the song Flashback to make sure my friends knew it was related to Deltarune, kind of relaying my dread for future chapters.

And one of my old high school friends who’s a gym bro liked it, and I know for a fact he did not get the reference, he just saw “protein” and liked it 😭

Caine - Willard!

Caine feels as though he can’t connect with humans, despite his very best efforts, and becomes frustrated to the point of violence because of it.

I like to imagine Socrates being a little bee sketch or something. (Bubble is Ben and we all know it.)

Kinger - Cicada Days

Kinger misses his wife. He misses her a lot.

I almost went with Becoming the Lastnames, but I think Cicada Days fits better. He had a limited time with his wife before he lost her, something he blames himself for, driving him to insanity. Yet in moments of lucidity, we get moments like the end of the song where we have just a sliver of hope to keep going, one day at a time.

Zooble - Mr. Capgras encounters a second hand vanity etc. etc.

They’re trying to replace themself. (Ha ha removable peices aren’t I funny)

While Mr. Capgras’ overall feel doesn’t capture Zooble’s emotions that well, if you take a look at the lyrics, I feel like they capture Zooble’s struggle with body dysmorphia well.

Gangle - Dr. Sunshine is Dead

Gangle is the most likely to be a Will Wood fan out of the whole cast

I’m going to be honest, this pick is mostly vibes and I wanted hers to match Zooble’s. Something about the duality of sunshine/moon at night and comedy/tragedy brought me in.

Ragatha - Skeleton Appreciation Day

How’s this going to work, she has no bones

Ragatha struggles with being genuine and honest, and this song is about revealing the most vulnerable bits of yourself. It’s a calmer song, but the underlying desperation is what makes me want to give it to her.

Pomni - White Noise

Vibes again

She’s pretty calming and encouraging toward the others in the cast. I also think the fact that she didn’t fit into a “archetype,” remaining more grounded as a character works well with this song.

Jax - That’s Enough, Let’s Get You Home

You thought I was gonna put I/Me/Myself didn’t you?

TELGYH just fits Jax better, if you really listen to the lyrics. You can interpret “dream girl” three different ways, (Ribbit, Pomni, or Jax) all at once or separately. “Grow up be a man” is literally in the song.

There’s probably better/more options for all of these, but this is what I could come up with for now.

I’m giving all the flowers human names because I want to. (Minus Seth [they already have a name and are happy with it] and Flowery [I hate him])

Aqua is Elspeth (Which is a feminine variant of Seth, but can also be shortened to Seth as a nickname. She gets to be Seth too!!)

Yellow is Thomas/Tom (After Tom Hanks, Woody’s voice actor in the Toy Story franchise)

Blue is Bowen/Bo (I think it sounds elegant and Bo Peep is Woody’s love interest in the Toy Story franchise)

Green is Sage (Gender neutral name, it’s green, and it’s an herb used in cooking)

Orange is Elizabeth/Liz (Elizabeth Wilkinson/Stokes is one of the earliest known female boxers)

Aqua’s cheery violence was literally how my sister was growing up, and Seth’s need to take everything so seriously and be right all the time was me.

It just means the world to me to see these personalities that we’ve grown out of interacting once more

Miles Edgeworth propaganda bcus the deadline is aproaching:

First we must ask ourselves what defines a Tumblr sexyman?

Although there's not a concrete answer to this question, by observing the popularity of other such characters through the years we can put together a few key characteristics.

A few often found traits of these oddly attractive men are:

-Well-dressed, typically in suits (Examples: Bill Cipher, Onceler, Spamton, ect)

-Sad backstory and/or redemption arc (Onceler, Shadow the hedgehog, Dr. Doofenshmirtz)

-Yaoi Potential (Oncest, Shadow the Hedgehog, L Lawliet, Stanford Pines)

-Bonus points if they serve as a foil or anti-hero in the story, because we fans love a good enemies to lovers.

-Either cold and nonchalant, insane or pathetic (Cold: Shadow, Crazy: Bill, Pathetic: Luigi)

So as we can all see although the Tumblr sexyman cannot be defined by mere words, there are quite a few troupes the fandoms love. When you find one of these troupes in a character or better yet when multiple are found, you get a character which can usually be defined as a Tumblr sexyman.

And seeing as this IS a Miles Edgeworth propaganda, I am obligated to point out that Miles falls into almost all of these categories perfectly. He's a well dressed and cold prosecutor, who starts out as a rival and anti-hero to out protagonist. As the games progress though, they develop a "friendship" which is where the shipping potential arises (bcus there is clearly something going on between those two). He has a tragic backstory- the death of his father at the hands of someone who later turns into his mentor.

So Your Honour, I believe that Miles Edgeworth should make it to the next round! Please, If we don't get an Ace Attorney 7, then at least we should have Miles Edgeworth as Tumblr Sexyman 2026!
