Today is the 4th of July [and the semiquincentennial (250th anniversary) of the United States)]. I keep thinking about what the bicentennial back in 1976 must have been like compared to today. Now, I would wish you guys a Happy 4th, but I’m not feeling super patriotic right now. I feel sad and angry at what this country has become. As Taylor Swift once sang, “I’m just mad as hell cause I loved this place…”.
Sorry, you guys. I just needed to get this off of my chest.
