even after a year of being a student on campus, lia still got lost at least once a week. the loud music and the smell of cheap beer told her that she stumbled straight into a frat party. “whack-- that’s gonna be my word of the week.” in lieu of a greeting, she leaned down towards the cup monet was holding, “what on earth is that?” she questioned as she pulled a slightly disgusted face, standing up straight again.

parties had never been ophelias thing, but this was part of her ‘college experience’. not to mention the free food at massive parties was outstandingly and surprisingly delicious. the sudden voice made her look up from her phone, “oh, i guess this is yours then,” she announced as she reached into her back pocket, fishing out a pretty beaten up wallet. “some guys were playing baseball with it. i hope i was able to save it in time,” she said as she handed it over to scout. “why are you out here, by the way? please don’t tell me someone spiked your drink.”

lia’s past is slightly inspired by tonya harding, just a little less shitty i guess. at the age of 4, her mom enrolled her in ice skating lessons and she spend most of her childhood on the ice, training her ass off and trying to get better and better. she basically won everything you can win and is the youngest ice skater to win olympic gold. she had to take a break not too long ago due to major injuries (and maybe even some mental health issues idk yet)

ever since she was little, her mother abused her mentally and physically. needless to say they really do not have a healthy mother daughter relationship and probs never will. her dad left when lia was around 7 and started a happy lil family of his own

let’s skip to the present: they have always been poor af so they couldn’t afford anything, but thanks 2 a scholarship (and the money she earned herself), lia is able to go to uni and is now a sophomore. she hasn’t spoken to her mom since the 18th century and ignores her dad at all cost. life is gr8

personality wise she’s a nerd, a people pleaser and a bit of a pushover. she’s a social introvert and basically just wants to feel good enough for once.. yikes. even though she can get a little aloof and detached sometimes, she’s kind-hearted and quite charming. she likes to stay out of trouble and avoids confrontations at all cost!! comics and documentaries about serial killers are her life and so is taking naps, eating and watching vines
