Untie the missing. Exhale the unspeakable. Unclutch the misunderstood. Give out the unheard. Unravel the present. And then gently Undefine me. Undefine me.
There is a reckless waterfall I listen to with my eyes closed. It fills every corner of my silence, relentlessly crashing at my side. Such powerful sounds of rocks breaking and blood rushing. In the midst of the noise, I sometimes hear music. This long forgotten song I never quite knew how to dance to. I may not see what heights it is falling from nor where it keeps on running to. But I can hear oh so much. It wraps around my heart like a hungry wave. Sitting here in the imaginary safety of a daydream, I find myself afraid to open my eyes to see that this mountain has started to break in two.
I wonder if you ever notice those burning ships floating to you across my silence… They carry my answers to the questions you will never ask.
I once knew a caged bird who had never flown, Yet about joy he would sing Heartily, Brand new songs every morning, For his freedom was much deeper than my own.
