dunno if anyone remembers me, but hi. it's been a long time. i hope everyone has been well.

since the last time i posted on here i dropped out of school, got officially diagnosed with severe depression, started medication, found out that i'm autistic, moved into my own place, now i live with my real family and soon the love of my life, and i'm starting T tomorrow. i've also developed really bad migraines and a nerve condition which leaves me in constant pain in my lower back and legs and pretty much unable to walk sometimes, but it's alright

i scrolled through some of my old posts and i'm honestly pretty embarrassed of the way i used to act. i used to feel so much anger and bitterness towards everything but i've learned to cope somewhere along the way. i'm much happier.

i have so many regrets, and so many people i wish i could apologize to but they probably don't want to hear from me. if you're one of those people i'm really sorry. i don't want to make excuses, i just hope that you're better now.

especially the homophobia part is shocking to me, because like what? Emma is lesbian coded?? Where tho? She shows no signs of being in love with emily, rather shes infatuated with the idea of her being her guardian angel and likewise emily is obsessed with the idea that she needs to make it up to emma for the way she treated her as a child. im not gonna get into that unless people ask bc its a whole can of worms i dont wish to open without tws. also, even if she was actually in love with emily, she is also romantically obsessed with a scarecrown who she thinks is a man lol so she’d be bi coded and not lesbian

I want everyone to know if you are reading the idv callout @identitycringe even though it was made with good intentions there are a lot, and i mean a LOT of inaccuracies to the lore and a lot of reaching. Mostly in the ableism transmisogyny and homophobia part. yall need to recognize the time period that idv takes place in. late 1800s/early 1900s. yes a lot of the racism stuff is pretty accurate but op is reaching pretty hard on the other stuff.
